These are the separated images from the Merriweather Post Pavilion cover if anyone is wondering. The background tree image that Sean is speaking of in his Instagram post is still hard to decipher.

That reverend green is brutal. Glad they abandoned it.

Is Dave’s costume Norman Bates dressed as his mother?

it's interesting how much more the lyrical focus helped the SJ songwriting. i think early feels material is much more compelling than the early SJ stuff

love the "more noah" around 44minutes when his bird sounds are too quiet

Yea I've seen that a billion times and it bums me out we don't have the full show. Those clips are epic. Deakin is on another plane of existence at that show

I think “appears” means he’s one of the people holding a sign in the big pic. He’s definitely not in the personnel for the song.

https://ourland.bandcamp.com

Glad they’re being this vocal about shit though. Pandas tweet about net neutrality is the only reason I knew it was a fight that’s still going

Damn. I love this band. The experiments never stop.

This got me thinking of all the one-off shows they've done:
Come Winter @ WKCR 2001 (if this counts or exists?)
Young Prayer Live 2002
Together 2004
Noah's ark 2004
Jane @ Midi 2007
Glasslands 2008
TTG 2010
Avey + Angel Holiday Drone 2013
Avey + Bjorn Copeland @ The Getty 2014
Avey + Geo Tonalism sets 2015
Coral Orgy 2017
Geo + Deakin Tony Conrad Tribute 2017
Music Box Village Shows 2018

Debatable ones:
Free 103.9 Session 2001
Dublab 2003
Resonance FM 2004
BBC Radio 3 Mixing It Session 2004
WNYC Spinning On Air 2004
Other Music 2004
Avey @Campus in Diretto 2005
BBC Radio 1 Huw Stephens Session 2005

Is there anything else?

some of those earlier ones are singular bootlegs but not necessarily one-off performances

by Texas Trill
Yea, I wasn't too sure about how to classify some of them. For example, Other Music is kind of a one-off because Deakin was with them and they played some new songs, but at the same time it was still Sung Tongs based

The 2017 Sung Tongs show is also hard to categorize

Btw, was Young Prayer preformed live more than once? (edit: I notice that the untitled #2 from ACB was recorded at Bard College with Avey. I wonder if this was a performance in front of other people)
Also, did Jane ever play live besides at the 2007 Midi Fest?

Looking at the liner notes on ACB, there seems to be a lot of shows where they might've only preformed the songs once. There's the one-off show at the Cooler in September 2000: just Avey and Panda. And I think there was also a Campfire Songs show at Mercury Lounge in August 2000. And then by himself, Avey recorded part of Oh Sweet and all of Do the Nurse at Warsaw in Brooklyn, but that might've been to an empty room...

Young Prayer was definitely performed more than once, I remember an interview where PB said something like how he was playing the whole show from memory and slowly the songs ended up all out of order

Am I remembering correctly that Deakin and Arto Lindsey did a collaboration show together in NOLA a couple of years ago or did Deakin just play a solo set?
edit: here is what I was thinking of: http://myspiltmilk.com/arto-lindsay-and ... -music-box
Also involving Music Box Village, but I think it was only a temporary place at the time.
