Ughhh it's so close! Petek I need this! I am not doing well mentally and my life has spiraled out of control. Last night the only thing stopping me from doing something awful was my daughter and missing the new AC. I know that seems outrageous but their music really means something to me.

A year on, life has never been better for either of us, and not much has changed except perspective. Lots of love.

....i didnt listen to the clips re context , but i disagree with the boys latin comparisons - except they sing back and forth , but that whole yodel vibe Nobbo was hitting ....i dont hear at all ...

Those amazon clips... I am at peace with them now. I was really disappointed intially, mainly because of those 'boys latin' style vocals like in every 2nd song. I was: 'are you having a laugh? are they having a laugh?!"
I played it all to my girlfriend (she knows how much I anticipated), first saying: 'how could they do this to me? don't they understand?' I was especially freaked out by 'natural selection' - it sounded so stupid, I mocked it for several days, singing those delays. But then, I don't know how it changed, I started to listen to the clips not for having a laugh but because they are so enjoyable. Now I like them. Happy to be on the train again. My girlfriend is also looking forward to hear the whole thing.

Jokes aside I actually wouldn't be surprised if they came out with a second, more subdued album after this one within a year. I feel like after 3 years the dudes would have more ideas that can fit on one album, especially fast paced pop injected one like this

All the interviews have been great and revealing a lot of exciting things about the album. It's interesting that there seems to already be so many review copies floating around.

for chz domino had a private page with the album on streaming and lyrics, and they gave access to all journalists early, i guess is what they normally do

technically speaking, couldnt a reporter just record the stream using audacity and save it as one long mp3 file? or would the watermarks catch that too?

My understanding would be that it is marked in audio data, but in a way that is inaudible to the listener. So Audacity would probably still record the watermark.

idk, maybe if a reviewer loved an album so much that they thought everyone deserved to hear it immediately they'd try that method. But yeah I don't think it's a likely or frequent occurrence
