Davey did say, “There is a member of our fan forum who lives in Iceland. This is basically a tour to thank him for his contributions to the site.”

I agree completely. It's tied with April as my favorite song on the album.

Let it rot

As for Domino frustrations, I guess I am a centrist. I get that the album release close to a leg of a tour drums up interest in both.

I don’t have strong opinions on the long lead up, but I do wish the tour followed the release. I enjoy shows a lot more when I know the songs

great stuff guys. loved the part about water drops, the cyclical collective aspect of that mindset. really cool.

pretty much confirmed what we thought about the status of the group...everyone's going to do their own thing and focus on their own projects for awhile. once Avey and Deakin albums drop that's when i'll start to wonder what's next, but for now i'm content with digging into these new solo works

i really think paw tracks should come back. the motherfuckers, ellicot hooligan, OBEX soundtrack...

very much looking forward to geo's "debut" of droney hurdy gurdy/modular trance

Same! ST is the best AC!! GR over PP and TB is wild. I loved the surprise of that pick, but i definitely don't hear that album as ending a trilogy. It has some beautiful songs, but kinda loses me most the time. I think Homies (vinyl version) might be my 2nd fav PB.

Apparently Susan Alcorn passed away today. Truly amazing and original pedal steel player who contributed to Eucalyptus. RIP to a real one.

Do you mean unreversed as in as it was released? Or unreversed as in playing forward, with intelligible lyrics? Either way I can help, PM me with whether you prefer soulseek or a file upload (e.g. google drive) and your email address.

I also think both versions may be on youtube, too

Looks like someone already helped you out, but also FYI for the bonefish pod, you may want to reference this show: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 6E3346A542

It is relevant especially for Foetus No Man, because the version included in the official release doesn't include vocals (I think they thought it sounded better when reversed without vocals), but you get the vocals when listening to the live version (see halfway through this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uEV-5_ ... OOMBAHlord)

To me this show (and the un reversed album) are one of the last "magical" era releases by the group. I absolutely adore almost everything they have released, but this period has a kind of perfect balance between a beginner's mind and someone coming into their craft and just being able to capture something beautiful without it being overly fiddled with.
