Just completed the puzzle for a third time. I am loving these sounds and the way the puzzle solving process interacts with the them. Also kind of wondering if Avey is sitting at home toggling between hundreds of live views of people completing the puzzle. :P

Also digging the artwork. The puzzle on the site looks like a cyanotype in the Anna Atkins style.

Man what a roll out!

And its official release is my birthday! Thanks for the gift Avey!

I can already tell from the artwork and some of these clips thats this will be a real treat for us. I knew the dudes were going to give us more acoustics!

actually the MP3s thebackdrifter posted are fake, Avey's been saying "that's right" and "nope nope" live since the website went up

Does 'nope nope' mean there's hocketing on the album?

that was really nice, got my asmr goin !

I wonder if that's a live recording of one of the songs ? If it's indicative of the rest of the album then we're looking at some heavy Meeting of the Water vibes. I'm hoping it's a little tighter though and not too meandering.

Someone ripped it from the website and shared, not sure if it was a straight download or if they manually recorded and cut it off at 5:12, but that doesn't look close to the time on any of tracks.

the other moth songs might not be included, but i am willing to bet money that either season high or when you left me is right now

Interesting coincidence, "Season High" is the title of Little Dragon's new album. Which is super good by the way, not my favorite in their discography but it's like stoner dance music and they get pretty experimental, especially on the last track Gravity.

could be Melody Unfair or maybe Season High if some of the transition was cut off

Jokes aside I feel this might be one of the more straightforward AC releases. Avey and a guitar, embellished in places

I've actually been wondering what legit asmr-music would sound like for a while now, and of course Avey would be the one to do it. I'd be pretty stoked if the whole album was made in that vein.

the song that starts playing for yal is the one where he sings something that sounds like "pushin tiles" or "push and tired"? and then something about telling a girl he's bringing three-bean salad to the cookout and then its a bunch of samples of other ppl talking/singing?

did anyone else find themselves singing along to the puzzle sounds haha

ALSO QUESTION:
would anyone happen to know if the limited edition LP with the lyric book (really want) will make it to record stores? like has anyone asked Dave about this in a DM or something? I've pre-ordered quite a few AC releases in the past but shipping to Canada usually just about doubles the cost of the record.

Oliver Twist was the #1 fuck anthem in America the week of its release, so no need to worry about that

I never knew I wanted to fuck a swamp until Down There came out. Why do you think it's called "Down There"? :shh: :shh:

certain bad-apple posters and i think something about this time of year/summer for western hemispherers is kind of weird and a lot of ppl go a bit loopy, is what it probably is.

maybe a single next week? or week after? seems like that would be par for the course but who knows. really wouldn't mind just waiting. but waiting is hard.... when yr salvation is on the line~
