I think it was Calvin in his record collection video who pronounced it like that.

I'd rather you just bought TTG, it's pretty cheap:

But I can PM you Panda's album. Do you want MP3 or FLAC?

I guess they were saying either if you're stoned it's the 8th best album to put on, or it's the album that's the 8th most enhanced with stonedness even if it's already good sober.

Yeah nice read.

(talking about slasherflicks)...its an extension of my solo work and i guess musically I have the most input in the band so I think that counts. I also want to do a more electronic record parallel to that which I have been writing songs for as well. I kind of want it to have a more home recorded analogue feel to it. I guess in a way similar to the last solo record I did 'Down There' but where as that one was meant for moon shine I think this one will be meant for sunshine. My hopes were actually to do three records and have them be a trilogy but my band mate (noah) told me that wasnt a good idea haha cause it would be too much work. So im taking his advice and trying to work really hard on two then maybe try and do another when these two are done. Who knows though by then I might be in the thick of some new ac stuff.

no kidding, Dave is definitely the quicker songwriter/releaser and that advice doesn't even seem applicable to him.

Hmm, I wonder if the third solo album would have been that acoustic one he mentioned a while back. That would be sweet cause then the trilogy would basically represent every facet of his musical output thus far: acoustic, electronic, and full band stuff. Dammit Noah...
Either way still super excited that he's working on two albums, especially since I've been really into Down There/the 2011 live jams lately.

So, with the whole new dance-oriented style Noah's taken, I was reminded of and inspired to go back and listen to the three Jane albums, which got me wondering:
Berserker was released on vinyl and CD in 2005.
Coconuts was (supposedly) self-released as a CDr in 2002 and the rereleased as a CD on Psych-o-path in 2005 in the 7" sleeve
Paradise was also (supposedly) self-released as a CDr in 2002
Question is: does anyone actually have those first CDr versions of Paradise or Coconuts?
Noah said they sold them through Other, and a limited run is pretty obvious, but I've never once seen either up for sale anywhere, even though MP3s of Paradise exist somehow
tl;dr
Anyone have OG Paradise or Coconuts?

Brothertiger's pretty guilty of sounding like a Panda Bear influenteƩ at least in terms of his vocal style

I don't have the original copies, and I've never seen them in record stores. I used to see them on ebay from time to time along with a lot of the other rare stuff.

Yeah HTCI for sure, or Spirit, but prolly Indian because it came first :)

Strawberry Jam's probably my favorite because it was the first of their albums that i REALLY got into, plus it's just 9 classic AC songs in a row. All their albums are really close to me though, so it only just edges a tie between about 4 albums in second place.

The albums that took me the longest to get into are my favorites. I started with MPP and Strawberry, but my favorites are Spirit, Indian, Campfire Songs...

Not that I can really order them, THAT'S impossible!
