but now that i check the site again monomania is gonna be on cassette!
but still no US sung tongs
Especially considering Animal Collective is a United Statesian band.

I wouldn't mind getting SJ on tape. That compression could actually sound pretty nice on some tracks.

I actually dubbed CHZ to a tape, and the high end sounds really good. Makes the mix sound less bass heavy and more colorful imo.

Fat Cat now have copies for sale on their site - wonder how limited this release was? Anyway, I got the tape, it blows my mind in all thinkable manners except the artwork hardly differs from the LP and the CD. Well, ok, in terms of size, but otherwise...

How does it blow your mind exactly? Not being a dick, actually curious if it differs in any significant way or if it's just the oddity of it?

The record is mixed so well, I'm sure it sounds amazing on all formats. If you're a big Tongs aficionado i'm sure it'd be worth it to pick up the tape, but I wouldn't expect an entirely new experience, just a modified old experience if you catch my drift. But what do I know, I haven't scored one myself, just made my own tape dub, which I would recommend anyone to do.

I just bought it. Can't wait to get it in the mail. Want to drive in the country as the leaves are changing colors and blast it on the car stereo.

I bought it here at the local record store, never thought they would actually have it. Really happy to have one, I like cassettes a lot. Sung Tongs is probably the best AC album to be released on tape.
