if slasher happens which i have a hunch wont i want Ascender or Modern Daze E... maybe Roses. Roses actually kinda fits with Euc.'s songs' themes.

otherwise he should keep doing that cemeteries... laughing heiro would be a shocker and encore appropriate. from Euc hoping for Selection, Ms Secret, Season High and maybe Coral. wonder how he'll pull off the parts with guest vocals/instruments on Euc.... if he also just did the new set that'd be just as well.

ya probably not like how there are no Chz songs this past tour, i guess cuz no deak/guitar/chz drum kit.

but ya this should be interesting because of how acousticy Eucalyptus is vs. the Mothlight. Seems like maybe we'll get some pretty different sounding versions from the lp versions. i guess maybe he'll sample angel and the other vocalists parts maybe idk. cuz i'd reeeeally love to hear some Season Highs....

maybe he'll break out a 404/555 or something with an electric guitar and do eucalyptus in a sampley/more electronic way which would be sick..

Idk what setup he used at the Mothlight but I wouldn't be surprised if he used the Octatrack for the beats on those songs, and I could see him using it for these fall shows too

I can't imagine that would be their mindset, they've never really thought like that about any of their music as far as I can tell. Their motivation for not doing any CHz material was more likely that they were just over it, and ready for new stuff, plus the fact that Deak wasn't along so they decided to move the focus away from guitars / heavy percussion. They only played a bit of SJ material without Deakin- if you look at the setlists for the 2007 shows, they rarely seem to have more than 1 or 2 SJ songs per show, both because Deak wasn't along and because they were already psyched on the MPP material and didn't want to play the SJ material

They said that the Chz tour was really exausting with all the reschedule and all so they wanted to move on.

The mothlight show is probably exactly what you should be expecting on this tour. I already asked him about the songs and a blend of those songs plus from the new album will mostly fill the set list ....which im super excited for bc a lot of those songs from that show are dope af!

this might sound stupid, but i have a ticket for the houston show at the end of October... i wonder if there's a chance that will be cornpilled? maybe if the venue is fine it won't be. dumb thing to think about i know, considering, but it just crossed my mind yesterday. planning to give him a cd of my latest tunes since he said he was into that on the reddit and panda never hmu abt the mix i gave him loll

Fuck, the Austin show isn't listed on aveys website or the barracuda website anymore. I never received an email or anything about it.

I feel like if shows were actually getting cornpilled there would have been some kind of announcement on Avey's social media pages by now but I don't see anything. Some fb events have been marked as cornpilled but the Chicago show still has an fb event and is still listed on the venue's website, even though it's no longer listed on Avey's site. Idk, I'm hoping this is just a weird fluke and everything is still a go

I get the feeling something sudden happened. There's a post on his facebook/twitter from 9/13 where he mentions a new date in addition to his fall tour that he's excited about. I really hope everything's all right with him and his family. :/

This is just speculation but -- AC has a couple shows scheduled this weekend. If something was seriously wrong then I assume those shows would be getting pulled too, but it looks like they haven't been? I guess we just don't really know what's going on yet, hoping AC will post some kind of announcement on social media soon, but either way I also just hope everything is alright
