i feel the same about john maus- i've never seen him before/love him/been putting off listening to the album until that day, and i am going to watch the majority of his set, but i'll be damned if i miss ANY chance to see noah live. seeing any glimpse of new material(and the first performance EVER of it) is why i wanted to go/bought the tix to begin with. so more than likely i'm gonna watch half of john maus' set and run over to get nice and comfy before panda bear, and hopefully there isn't an insane crowd.

Website says no video recording, wondering if that extends to audio recording and how strictly they’ll enforce it. Whatever the case I will do my best to record this.

Could use tips using a Zoom H4, I’ll do my best to get comfortable/familiar with it by set time tomorrow.

Tip: destroy your recording after the show to prevent demoitis

It might be a general disclaimer that isn’t really enforced (hopefully). I was watching a video of White Fence’s full set from last year and I’ve seen a couple of other full sets on YouTube from the fest.

I'm going with another fellow CA-er (also named Shaun) who did the original Panda Bear ATP recording and he's bringing his recording stuff again, too. I'm happy to do any EQ/cleanup after on either or both recordings! I'll be coming back from the fest Sunday night so if you wanna send it my way I'm happy to adjust it in Pro Tools later. Who knows... maybe I can create a hybrid boot using the best of both recordings?

It'll be the bootleg equivalent of the vinyl Tomboy boxset mixes.

Some of it was like straight up electro club music. The songs were pretty long too. But the vocals were chipper and soulful and almost country-esque IMO.
