no but ya i recorded the whole set, the opener too, and i'll try to find a way to get it from my android phone to my mac computer to this thread as soon as i can

It's not up to you, really a hypothetical question

thanks for recording this, that is really cool of you

oh no my bad fov!!! i meant the "no but yea" just as a continuation of my posts from before, not as a response to the question u asked, my bad coming off as rude :( i hadn't seen your post until after i'd made that one. fully support crowdsourcing money for dance avey dance to follow the boys around and give us all the bootlegs we'd ever want :)

My mouth is an asshole and only shit can come out, I'm sorry dude. It's beyond cool of you that you recorded this.

anybody else notice a similarity in the song going on around 29:30 having a background sound similar to the one used at the end of michael remember? that was one of my favorite sounds in that track and would love it if it was one of aveys sounds and he uses it on an album.

I wasn't a massive fan of Slasher Flicks but it was going for something quite specific which I think it nailed. Down There was exceptional, singular. This sounds pretty exciting to me, like an evolution of both Feels and Down There, as someone said above. I'd also throw Sleep Cycle in there. And then you've got a whole load of dub techno beats, it almost reminds me of Swallow At The Hollow in parts. I'm just happy to have something a bit more jarring and open and emotional than much of the neatly packaged palatable stuff we've had in recent years.

I freaking love this one!!!

It's so magical when he sings "my heart is open tonight" in the first song. This is a great direction for him, and some of it feels like totally new territory to my ears.

Big thanks to spoogn for the recording!

I'd love to split the recording up into songs for their titles alone. Judging by the lyrics we have songs like "Happy Family" (featuring some Acid Wash-ish guitar around 9:45), "Eyes," "Uncle Doughnut," "Baby's Not Home," "Disc One," "Step in the Worms," etc. etc.

I count 9 distinct songs, anyone count any more or less??

Proto-tracklist (names and times subject to change based on suggestions):
1. "Pal Child" (~0:00 - 9:30)
2. "Happy Family" (~9:30 - 17:00)
3. "Step in the Worms" (~17:00 - 24:56)
4. "Eyes" (~24:56 - 30:35)
5. "Disc One" (~30:35 - 35:08)
6. "Baby's Not Home" (~35:08 - 37:56)
7. "Uncle Doughnut" (~37:56 - 44:00)
8. "Me and the Bubble" (~44:00 - 59:09)
9. "Cemeteries" (~59:09 - 1:05:05)

open to suggestions for the title of the first track. I really want to figure out that phrase Avey keeps repeating before the chorus in the first song, it sounds like "pal child" so i chose that for the song title (originally chose "to be so special" but didnt think it sounded very AC)

You're so welcome!

Sometimes in the first song I hear "my heart is open tonight" but most of the time I hear "my heart is open to it now." can anyone confirm?

I love the title Pal Child! I hear "my heart is open to it now."

For me the titles for tracks 1 and 3 were between a couple of repeating phrases. Upon splitting, I realized the "step in the worms" phrase was really just the intro to "me and the bubble" as its repeated at the end of the song. Still, such a cool title. Check it out!

Just skimmed through this version and its pretty best. I don't know how i didn't realize that Red Light Water Show song was its own thing. Good good good stuff!! Was also really glad to hear the recording still ends with my friend saying "what a cute guy, huh?" at the very end :)

Asheville resident here. I am new to this board but I attended this show. It was honestly better than I could have imagined it being. Thanks to the one's who recorded/ tracked the audio. I put a few vids on youtube recorded from behind the stage. The music reminded me a lot of down there and at times feels, strawberry, and water curses, bought me back to some of my favorite stuff from him. Probably the best performance Ive seen from Avey. I havent seen the full AC live sonce 07 but I think this topped even that. Real emotional moving shit. I had a great time.
