I could go for a whole record of this kinda stuff

Anyone know what time signature this is? I suck at counting time signatures and this song is confusing me. It sounds like 6/8 but I have no idea.

kinda unrelated but can someone point me to that avey live boot that everyone raves about? the one with this song, song for jerome, etc. i've never heard it and if those are songs are this good, oh boy...

edit: i'm referring to the definitive boot, if one exists. i know he plays that unreleased material in several boots..

It's definetly 7/8. Counting time signatures is something I obsessively do. When the beat first comes in it goes Boom 2 3 4. Clap 2 3. Boom 2 3 4. Clap 2 3. Which gives you 7/8 timing.

somewhere round that time something went " wrong" because this unreleased song for a game is better than anything they released after that.

Ohh ok I just realized I'm hearing the downbeat in a different place than u are jfw. But yeah that it is the grouping at the end. I hear the downbeat at the first 2 in the 2+2+2

i feel like you're right because i always feel off in the verses but it's really hard for me not to hear the last 2 as a pickup to the bar starting on my 4. i think it's an emphasis thing

in any case the end is much easier to count bagel if you want to hear what we're talking about

I think personally this one is the best quality but all the setlists we have from this era are pretty much the same.
