From the Tiny Mix Tapes interview:
wrote:
I definitely purposefully wrote my songs to be easier on my voice, meaning no screaming. But usually that’s just an effect of how I’m feeling. The songs on Centipede Hz were very angry now that I can look back on them. Maybe they weren’t topically, but I was working through some things. The same goes for a lot of my songs with Slasher Flicks. I don’t feel that way right now, so people should not expect much screaming on this tour from me.

I could see him adding some screaming in to songs when he's feeling up to it, like on Colbert the other night, but they might not do a song where the screaming is essential and would need to happen every night

Gonna do this again because I find it fun and I'm annoying.

Definitely won't be played:

Father Time (It's from Centipede Hz)
Summertime Clothes (Was played during the last tour and was played A LOT)
Amanita (It's from Centipede Hz)
Banshee Beat (Avey said in a recent interview that this is a very emotionally heavy song for him and that he probably wouldn't be playing the song live)
Applesauce (It's from Centipede Hz)
New Town Burnout (It's from Centipede Hz)

Most likely won't be played:

Slippi (Has been played quite a lot and probably wouldn't fit the Painting With style all that well.)
Cuckoo Cuckoo (Hasn't been played since 2007 or all that much. I don't think it'd fit the Painting With style well at all in my opinion)
Penny Dreadfuls (Hasn't been played ever, although I don't think it would really suit the tour's style)
For Reverend Green (Like someone already mentioned in this thread, Avey said recently in an interview that he wants to go easy on his voice on this tour. However, with all the screaming going on in recent performances, I'm still holding out some hope for For Reverend Green)
De Soto De Son (Part of me thinks this would fit well with Bees. Another part of me thinks that there's no way they'd play this song and I don't know why.)
Prospect Hummer (With the absence of Vashti, it seems unlikely. Plus this song probably wouldn't fit the Painting With style)
Cosplay (It's a Panda Bear song that was played recently so I'd say it's very unlikely)

Might be played:

Derek (Hasn't been played all that much and it was last played in 2007 according to setlist.fm. I don't think it would really fit the Painting With style all that well though)
Hey Light (See reasons for Derek)
Winter's Love (Hasn't been played all that often although I'm not sure how they'd incorporate this song with all the new stuff. It's hard to imagine for me.)
April and the Phantom (Hasn't been played ever, although I'm finding it hard to imagine this song grouped with all the other songs played on this tour so far)
Always You (Hasn't been played since 2003 and that was a one-off according to setlist.fm. However, I don't think it would fit the tour's style)
I See You Pan (Hasn't been played often at all. It'd need to be heavily re-worked though but I can see it happening)

Good chance it will be played:

Water Curses (Hasn't be played ever according to setlist.fm and I think it would fit the Painting With style really well)
Street Flash (Hasn't been played since 2007, hasn't been played all that often and I think it would sound next next to those softer Feels tracks)
Bat You'll Fly (Hasn't been played ever according to setlist.fm and would sound awesome in the Painting With style.)
No More Runnin' (Hasn't been played all that much and would totally fit this tour's style)
In the Singing Box (Hasn't been played ever according to setlist.fm and, surprisingly, I think it would fit the tour's style really well. The bass synth sound in this song is really sounds similar to the bass sounds on a lot of Painting With's songs. It'd definitely need to be re-worked in some way though)
From a Beach (Hasn't ever been played according to setlist.fm (seems incorrect) and would fit the tour's style well)
Running the Round Ball & Throwin' the Round Ball (Only one of these have been played according to setlist.fm and they would fit the tour's style really well)
Grass (Lying in the Grass x Grass mashup! Make it happen!)

Songs that have a good chance of being played (in my opinion) so far:

Winter Wonderland
Fickle Cycle
Turn into Something
#1
Water Curses
Street Flash
Bat You'll Fly
No More Runnin'
In the Singing Box
From a Beach
Running the Round Ball
Throwin' the Round Ball
Grass

So there's no way no centipede songs will be played? I know it has a lot of feels for the band but you don't think they'll ever be played?

I think we'll hear the return of one of the songs this tour.

It could also just be that they don't feel like going through the trouble of reworking the C Hz songs for their current setup. It wouldn't be impossible but maybe there are just other songs/albums that they'd prefer to play and also are easier to replicate with their current setup, idk

I'm hoping for Moonjock tbh seeing as how Geo mentioned it was one of his fav songs to play live in that Pitchfork interview a while back

I think they said that they don't want to play any Centipede Hz stuff for this tour in an interview somewhere. Not entirely sure if I'm remembering correctly though.

I think what's tricky about incorporating a song from the Hz is... sticking one of them into the set might feel very cut-and-paste, in the way that... the songs of CPHz are the most contained of any in AnCo's catalog, and so it's corresponding tour was very much tailored to handling them much like the album does. So, within reimagined confines of PW, music from the Hz would have a much tougher time than a song like Daily Routine reemerging organically -- it depends so vitally on the surrounding minutiae.

I could see them pulling off moonjock, applesauce, pulleys or honeycomb with their current setup. Not that they will, but I do think those are more likely than What Happened or anything else off of ODDSAC

It's funny I never expected these live shows to be as heavy on transitions as they are, but they totally are

The transitions between songs is what makes AC such an amazing live band. These past tours have been no exception

Please please please Chores. Even though they must have gotten tired of it (especially Panda because he played it solo too). Would be perfect to perform in the vein of Painting With (imagine Avey and P trading off "if" "I" "if" "I"). Probably won't happen though shit

idk if anyone has mentioned this, what would the chances of the dudes playing new songs by say next month be? avey has said that they've talked about writing and recording new stuff, but they've been busy with touring and stuff (not so much lately, which means they might've been using this down time to work on new songs)

I would love so much if they combined Graze and some other song similar to the Fireworks / Essplode or Lablakely Dress / Fireworks. There's a really great opportunity for a song to fit before the first section of the song and the climax towards the end.

If they used Hocus Pocus in their new set maybe it could fit there.

You know how Avey says, "why am I so scared?" in Safer?
