Trust me it's hard to be patient over here as well. I've slowly collected every thing these guys have ever put out. All the rare stuff I have. The OG Hollindagain, original PB CD, I even have a Sleep Cycle cassette and I wasn't a backer. Then AC goes and fucks with me by putting out 50 tapes at one show. But I have someone who is selling it to me but he's a kid who I think is graduating high school so he's been busy. But as soon as I get it I'll put it up. And yeah it's funny that 50 people bought 50 cassettes and I don't think any of them have heard what's on it. No one's said anything at least.

We aren't hearing it, 30 of the 50 tapes immediately went into a trashcan when the buyers realized it wasn't a flash drive, 15 of the 50 immediately became damaged, unremoveable or playable from the archaic cassette players they were inserted into, and the last 5 were purchased by non-fans who wanted to resell it for a buck, but couldn't find any buyers because they don't know where actual Animal Collective fans reside.

Is it possible that there was a genuine request by the band or Drop of Sun to not do any kind of online sharing? Kind of like Deak tried to prevent the freebird on Sleep Cycle - except this time people actually respected the wishes of the artist?

That's true, I remember turning on my computer during university days and opening IE 1.0 and typing 'what is coolest trousers for a man' and it just flashed up 'OPENING SOON GO THE LIBRARY WHILE U WAIT' and I remembered we didn't have it yet. These were the days when you had to type 'Thank you very much, bye' every time you logged off or your computer would get in a mood.
