Does suck that I can never hear a proper vinyl version of PR tho, least till i get a turntable that can go backwards
But you're in the southern hemisphere, don't all the turntables go backwards there?

with reference to the whole reversed thing... honestly somehow the songs are even more beautiful because they are kind of hidden away. I love the idea that we through some sort of alchemy can discover these little gems of songs hidden in something that was originally in a different form. somehow the themes are magnified or something. im so glad it exists in either form though because even in the released form its interesting,

I've heard a bit of the official one and as I recall some of the songs DO work pretty well reversed, to be fair.

Following jfw7's suggestion, I've stretched Palenka out further. Funnily enough, I did feel that my new version (of the low-quality version I downloaded a couple of weeks ago) was a bit fast and the guitar string squeaks also seem a bit pitched up/unnatural. I just assumed I'd misremembered. Anyway, I've stretched it out to 5:38, and it does sound more like I remembered, and more similar to the boots. Just uploading now. I'll share within 24 hours, going to bed now and early start in the morning.

not meaning to gloat or anything, but I've got a Stanton T.80 that plays in reverse. I was soooo psyched when I found PR at half-price books for $7. The only time I've ever even used the reverse function...except to check my Zep recs for satanic messages, of course.
what I'm sayin' is, find yoself a Stanton! It's worth it
