That was great! Alex has such a wonderful voice you two should do more covers together!!!

Rocks: didn't have enough time to listen at my lunch break but I will when I get home.

Also I think I might try to do Derek as a cover! Gonna try and learn how to play it today!!

I learnt the second part of winters love during the night. It was so fun playing it as the sun rose. I had to sing it a bit different because my vocal range is pretty small. but as I was playing it earlier THIS HAPPENED:

folks, that's a bird on my roof walking in time to winters love. just when you thought you'd seen it all. But I messed up that take halfway through so yeah.

As for the chords, I don't know what they're called. I only know the sound they make... when they take a mans life.
jk this is what I was playing from memory
E, Emaj7, E6, Emaj7 (repeat that for the verses)
C, A, C, E (I'm on a plain bit)
Am, E (bridge)

idk if that's exactly what they're playing but it sounded ok to me.

I'm playing and F major and then Gminor but with a 4 in place of the 5. Hope that makes sense! I saw the chords on the usual site for AC stuff. The guitar chords would look like

I-II is a really pretty chord progression on its own and adding that 4 in there gives it this tug that I love

I mean I would do it... but I don't have the technology or the steady hand to pull of a procedure like that so HA

anyway I went and done a peacbone cover. it's pretty standard I guess and there's a pause cos I fucked up the lyrics but whatev
