lol that's be so insane if From a Beach got resurrected... that was favorite song 5 summers ago.. If they play it in a dj set, what does that even mean?

That's not necessarily the case. Geo just said that they didn't conceive a version of that song that was satisfactory enough to be released. It's entirely possible that some incarnation of it has been recorded by the band.

Ah I never saw that interview with Geo, you might be right then. I messaged the guy on youtube who posted the video asking if he recorded any of the new panda bear song/from a beach. No response....yet.

i wanted to add that i dont like 1015 folsom its always way overcrowded cuz they sell enough tickets to fill both rooms but everyone is always in the bigger room and its been that way all 4 times ive gone.. and the security is elbowing through the crowd to catch people smoking weed and i dunno its just a shitty club.. and $30 tickets and $10 drinks and someone snitched on the guy selling molly in the bathroom and he got arrested.. fuck that place

i'm way late to this thread but i specifically remember hearing a song in the middle of the set that sounded like a deakin solo song, and it sounded really good. maybe that's what people are referring to as the "panda" song. his vocals sounded a lot better and nicely treated but i'd put money on it being deakin and not panda. plus it seemed as tho he was the one who played the song and was doing his deakin dance along to it.

welp this board continues to be the frickin awesome catalog of all good things AC related. this is the "deakin" song i was talking out above, posted by hauntology (found while scumming thru another thread). cool song, hope there's more like it to come.
