Also my buddy doesn't get off work til 6, and he works on DePaul campus so we'll be an hour L ride away or so...and have to grab dinner too...will probably miss some of DJ Dog Dick's set but just hope we don't miss any of PB's.

Which, btw, in case anyone doesn't know, show is at 7. Doors are at 6.

So I am going to try and record this. Think he will mind? I know another taper here was told not to release a recording that he did to the internet.

I just recorded the Slasher Flicks show in columbus and asked angel, avey and jeremy if were cool with me putting it online and they were. I just wonder if Panda has changed his mind about us taping?

I'd love a copy as well. Looks like you'll be half way to drunk with all these drinks we'll be buying you.

Concert was spectacular, not much left to be said given what the response has been from past concert goers. I was able to talk with both Danny and Noah after the show, and they were super nice. Danny said that he's working on starting an actual film of his, one that is not directly connected with music. He also said that he's not too interested in working with anyone besides Noah and Black Dice. Also, is it known that Noah's using a teenage engineering op-1? Because I saw him carrying one

Awful awful chatterbox crowd, at least where I was standing. Chatted with ethmin quickly though so he's still cool

Preakness was the highlight, really like what he did with jetty too. I don't know what people are calling any of the new songs but the third one with the vocal back and forths was the bomb

Are we seriously complaining about a room full of people excited over a show in dark room with alcohol were talking? :pwn: idk seems pretty dumb to me.

I was front and center and in awe the entire time. It sounded soooo good. The "Are you dead" track is now my favorite (heart and soul might've been my favorite because I've always loved it from the boots, but he didn't play it sadly). also I recorded the show and it doesn't sound half bad.

i recorded the show as well and will be editing it once I get back home. Sound was pretty decent. I was in the balcony and the sound carried pretty well.

Can't wait to hear it with some good cans first though.

Also the set was amazing! Can't wait to relive it over and over.

Nice, thanks thebackdrifter! Panda really did seem in top form the whole night so I think it'll be a good one :D

I don't think I'd ever seen Noah sing with so much confidence, it was awesome hearing his voice carry something as sparse as Can't Go Back. I'd never heard those vocoders in Principe Real before either, there was a split second there were I could've sworn he was sampling Doin' It Right O_o Also, he played The Preakness right before Mention/Other Guy, which I think might've been a different set order from the Toronto show the night before.

And yeah, got to meet elks and he seemed like a pretty cool dude! I would've liked to hang around more after the show finished and stuff but we had a long drive ahead of us so we left as the end of Surfers Hymn was playing out.

Amazing show. The visuals were nuts, and absolutely stunning. Also really dug the venue.

Did anyone else notice at the beginning of Can't Come Back it seemed like he repeated the first line 2 or 3 times? I was a little drunk so I'm not certain, but it seemed like he went back and repeated "It's all in the family..." twice.

Yeah, you guys clearly don't go to shows often. People talk at every show, don't want talkers, go to an opera or play

Great show, agreed that the crowd was pretty bad. Lots of chit-chat, lots of 16 year old thinking it was an EDM show or something (at least by where I was). My brother and I got there pretty late unfortunately (he had a doctor's appointment), but we still had a really good time. Jetty and one of the dancier, groovier new songs (I don't know any of the names, I haven't listened to the boots) were the highlights for me.

As elks mentioned I met him (total sweetheart, y'all). Sorry if that hug I gave you was all sweaty haha. I perspire. Also, ethmin, I was hanging out by the bar while my brother closed his tab and I saw you while you were leaving but for some reason couldn't put a name to the face until later so I didn't say anything. I should have anyway. Sup brah?

Mi hermano and I explored the bar downstairs for a bit then went and got some delicious delicious Mexican food. The server approached us in Spanish and even though I barely speak any, it was really cool to order in Spanish and not feel like a dick.

Overall, it was a pretty cool night.
