Okay. Show was amazing. As was Dam-Funk. I liked the opener too but I don't know who he was. But I have to say... did anyone else notice that David Byrne was there? Because that blew my fucking mind.

I've been avoiding the boots because I kinda ruined Tomboy by overlistening to them, so that show was pretty much all new to me.
I was blown away, as was my brother. Can't wait for the album!

A guy who works for Red Bull was outside when we got there and he told us. Still excited to hear your recording!
Also I had that Dam Funk line running through my head as I was reading your post!
They have a few recordings from last week up but the guy I talked to made it sound like it might take days before it shows up online.

One of the best shows I've ever seen (and I've seen Panda in Person Pitch and Tomboy eras as well). A few notes: I've never seen him get into singing like that before. I know a few people already mentioned it, but he actually like dances back and forth and shakes his head and stuff. It's really cool to see him just let loose.
Also, I've listened to the boots a lot and I am pretty certain that the second new song and Mention were not the same. I mean, I think they were two separate things, or at least that was some kind of extended new intro, but the second new song was definitely not just a rework of Mention. The boots should help make that apparent.
Finally, no dropout during can't go back / fill those spaces last night either.

Ironically I missed a large chunk of the lazer action due to being so close to the stage. I could see the lights flashing above my head, but it wasn't until I saw pictures and videos from further back in the crowd that I realized just how crazy the light show was. Panda definitely went HAM in the visual department last night.
Set List:
1. [entrance]
2. "Make Believe"
3. "Day After Day"
4. "Heart and Soul"
5. "Dark Cloud"
6. "Vacuum"
7. "Can't Come Back"
8. "Down Below"
9. "Other Guy"
10. Principe Real
11. "Fill Those Spaces"
12. [encore]
13. Last Night At The Jetty
14. Scheherazade
15. Surfers Hymn
A couple of random notes...."Heart and Soul" isn't actually the lyric (it's "myyy soul") but I kept the title just because it's cool. Mention is a wrong/ changed lyric too (I changed it to "Other Guy") and he is now singing "Can't Come Back" not can't go back. "Day After Day" is Do It from ATP.
I'm also not sure if the [entrance] music was his special intro or not...the lights went down, his lasers started flying around and that music started, he then came out right after. Did that music play at any of the other shows?

I don't remember that at the DC show at all, and I had stepped outside and missed some of the first song of the Philly show, but that music sounds like something that was being played before the opening acts at that one iirc.
Those crazy lasers were definitely not at the other 2 shows though. That shit looks awesome.
Thank you for the new boot guys!

THANK YOU dad&lion...amazing turnaround on the recording!
i feel like that show got singed into my psyche last night...panda's perfect sonic bath of sound mixed with the spooky lysergic screened visuals and those lights...holy crap...those lights...WOOSH!
the entire set crushed me...noah was in fine form last night...banshee screams and lullabyes and everything in between...i really enjoyed every piece presented last night...and the encores were gravy on top of an already succulent evening feast of sound...Jetty was especially grand...but by far, my favorite moment was the dark cloud...it was soooo killer...i was waiting for it all night too...so when he started dropping that glorious beat to kick it off, i damn near lost my shite...so if you saw some freak dancing his blissed-out booty off during the dark cloud, that freak was me...;^)

those lasers look freakin incredible in the vids/the vines Hisham Baroocha posted on twitter.... this and avey's DT tour seem like the coolest things the guys have done live solo, but the new songs/Perez's visuals seem especially nxt level. Abbey's great, but damn, Perez....
thanks dad, can't wait to listen to this.

I think something weird happened when I bounced certain tracks because the volume seems to drop off at the beginning of some tracks. I'll look into the issue and repost the recording later in the week once I figure out what happened/when I have some time. So sorry
