Aw, that's okay. I just feel like this thread has become a series of misunderstandings at the moment (other than poor cody's post which got unfairly next page'd so I'll quote it below) so let's move on. And no excruciatingly dumb posts like 'Bros' Owl's from now on please.

not much to update other than that I am almost finished with recording. The next step will be to work with my editor to start crafting the final edits of the DVD and in the process further shape some of the more sonically collaged aspects of the audio. I imagine this will still take a while but it's cool to be getting close to that step and once we play our last AC show of the Centipede Hz era in Nashville on Dec 8th, I will have nothing else to do but finish this beast once and for all. I can't wait.

I am working on some posters and photographs that I will be sending out to everyone by the end of the year. look for me to be requesting address info for that soon.

Though it is a little sad to be coming to the end of our AC touring cycle for a good long while, it is personally very exciting as I will be able to put all of my attention into my own output. I have been working on new songs beyond the Mali record and can't wait for this project to be completed so I can move on to that stuff. I haven't really mentioned it yet but once that is finished (however long that takes) you will all be receiving copies.

That's where it's at.

Hmm, aren't AC lined up to play some shows in march next year? If the centipede hz era ends in December, I wonder if they'll be playing new material by then?

Nothing is listed on their website or any other page. I think it's safe to assume they don't have any dates booked, especially since Josh wrote that they were done touring "for a good long while."

Funnily enough if it weren't for Josh I would have never met Jeff Mangum. When we met he mentioned that he had to get to the band's soundcheck afterwards (around 3PM?) so when Neutral Milk Hotel played the same venue in Sydney last week I figured it'd be worth a shot to head down at a similar time and try my luck (and it paid off).

I'm super glad I was able to help fund this project and we still get another album on top of the Mali recordings? Thanks a lot Josh!
