he does a similar thing in the 10/5 boot at the egyptian room where he's basically like "i want everyone to turn to the jimmy next to them and say I LOVE YOU JIMMEHH"
i woulda got pretty psyched if they did that at the socal show

The end of that video that was cut out is the camera panning to the audience and you see it's just two teens looking uncomfortable

Loved that part! It was so goofy and funny. The dude is just being silly and I love it.

They cheered and I assume some of them did but I was in the back recording so I can't say for certain.

He did the same at the Eugene show, which was great. I actually kind of sighed when I realized they were starting to play Jimmy Mack, because it's the only song of this cycle that I don't really dig. But it sounded great, and Avey getting all lovey dovey won me over. So fun.

I've seen em 6 times this tour and Eugene definitely had the best Jimmy Mack

Kind of random, but anyone ever notice how the vocoded backing track in "No Man's Land" sounds almost exactly like the one used in "Your Card"? It's always neat when you hear little details like that influencing one or the other's solo albums.

Not sure if this has been posted about but one of the samples used in Comfy in Nautica (more audible in boots than in studio recordings) sounds a lot like a sound used in this old-school Flinstones game. Listen for the zooooom noise
http://www.dan-dare.org/FreeFun/Games/Flintstones.htm
The game and the crazy noises really stuck with me from my childhood, just picked it out in the song

HOLY FUCK
I JUST THOUGHT ABOUT THAT GAME RECENTLY
I HAVENT PLAYED IT IN LIKE A DECADE
edit: I don't think that's the exact sample, I think it's slightly different, but I do have to thank you for giving me a nostalgia attack

ok soooo who does what in New Town Burnout live
I assumed deakin did the constant wailing guitar sound thing but I was watching the centipede hz dvd and realised he's not playing a guitar at all, but I still think he's the one making that sound
Avey is doing the crazy organ chord stabs I'm pretty sure
Panda of course is singing and percussioning, he might also trigger the rhythm sample at the start too that runs thru the whole song?
Geologist I think does most of the slo mo radio noises at the start, the sort of feedback sounding nioses that happens pretty often and other bleepy bloopy noises. oh and bass noted of course, but they're not too prominent in this song
anyone got anything to add to that?

I think you've got Dave and Josh the other way round but otherwise yes.

Shit is gonna turn up once Josh rejoins them for the next LP.
How sick would it be if they made two AC records at once? A Geo/Noah club trax LP and an acoustic Dave/Josh LP

This would be amazing. Idk if I could see them actually doing something like this, but they do like to make each LP distinct from the last one, and having Avey and Panda make completely separate albums would be basically the opposite of Painting With
At the very least Panda needs to release some dance music. It just makes too much sense. He already dipped his toes in with Swallow at the Hollow. Eric Copeland's released records on L.I.E.S. and Jeremy Hyman just released on Future Times, so he's got connections with those labels, probably others too. Make it happen already PB

^Idk, I just think it could be interesting to hear Panda or any of the dudes try something different and make a full-on house or techno record with no vocals. I especially love Afterburner and Swallow at the Hollow so I guess it kinda stems from a selfish desire to hear him make more music in that same vein. But I'm always happy to hear more music from PB no matter what style

Oh man, swallow at the hollow as well as live loch raven made me want a panda house album. ahhhhh
house/techno elements have appeared throughout their later stuff, mostly panda coming through I think. Guys Eyes live during the mpp tour kinda reminded me of the minimal techno from the time like the field and pantha du prince

I also thought it was funny that panda said he would be focusing on ac but hes back on working on new material. No complaints though. Makes you wonder... maybe he doesn't plan to do a solo tour.

imagine. tomorrow they suprise drop a new full bander hour long romp...
tracklist
1 and it shows [amazing opener...real kicker upper..]
2 ice cream factory [return of a classic...]
3 sharble water bow [nice slower track...sparse]
4 gecko [a real psych rokker]
5 forest tower [the one 2 punch if u will..carries on the energy ]
6 pore trait [a real crazy one...side b]
7 huasca [really dreamy man]
8 vision fields [another dreamy one]
9 building places [a midtempoer...but gradually builds up energy to be a banger]
10 our findlings [a heartbreaker but a reassurer...serves as a reminder they still have so much left to share and taht the "ac loves u best..

"

I'm always excited for more P Bear. I am curious to see what happens with the next AC (especially if Deakin returns). Essited!

Ok so there was some guy on the subreddit a lil while ago who said he read somewhere that Panda wants to make another AC record before making another solo album. But the guy said he couldn't find the interview where he read that, has anyone else read that somewhere?
Idk how likely that is, but it would be sweet. Could still be true even if Peebz is working on solo stuff already, seems like they're always writing solo stuff during AC album cycles. But it would throw off the full band/solo album cycle if they did another LP next...but then again Painting With was a departure from the typical touring > recording process, so anything is possible I guess
So many questions about AC's future

I'm already impatient for new music of any kind, but I'm sure it'll come eventually

Considering that Noah played the new tracks in 2013 and that the album came out in 2015, I think that if he only started working on new songs, he might be up for another Animal record
