This is what I was thinking, good way to put it.

are the panda main tracks i think, but there's so much vocal tradeoff it's hard to tell. but those tracks at least it feels like he's forefront in the verses.

HOLY SHIT THOSE PREVIEWS!!!!!
my initial reaction on first listen is that i'm leaning towards side 1 of this album. there seems to be a little bit of sameness through the second half, though i'm sure that opinion of mine will change and these are just 3o second previews. the album sounds totally fantastic though, if anything at all i wish there were one or two slower songs that kind of crawl and bumble along in the way that also frightened does, i think that would sound good with the instruments they're using

while i am also a huge fan of the more ambient and slower elements of the AC sound (end of daily routine, no more runnin), i totally respect their vision of an album full of short, dancey, weird pop songs. it's not going to top MPP, but it sounds like a great and singular addition to their catalog

tbh i loved floridada but wasn't feeling these 30s previews as much. granted they are only short snippets, so im hoping for the best, but none of these thrilled me. (well, maybe 1 or 2)

Listening again for the chord changes, they're becoming more distinctive. I'm quite happy not to be immediately blown away, most of my favourite AC has taken me some time to unravel. This seems melodically more complex than much of what they've done for a long while, brings back that jumpy itchy energy. Me gusta saltar.

Yeah. There's definitely distinctions between melodies in every song, but I will say that I'm getting similar vibes from all of the tracks.

But who cares? You don't need to get every feeling from one friggin' album. That's why discographies and other artists exist. I think that this is just the kind of album that's great for dancing and getting pumped, and there's nothing wrong with that. It clearly seems to be excelling greatly in that respect so far

Listened to every sample and now kinda regret it, mostly because the quality is so terrible. But man, these songs all sound nuts. I can't wait to have the full thing all to myself in hi quality. One gripe people seemed to have with CHz was how it sounded less like a new sound and more like an album done in their general style/comfort zone. This however all sounds super new for them tho.
