Hope so. Maybe tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be weird to announce something on a weekend tho? I'm guessing something early next week if we're lucky

i was thinking that but it's thanksgiving week. hope so though so we don't have to wait any longer.

good point, but that of course made sense because the weds before thanksigiving is the busiest travel day of the year and they were doing it at an airport. also, the album was actually announced and put up for pre-order the week following thanksgiving, right?

at the very least, worth noting that a timeline of announcement around thanksgiving resulted in album release in february.

yeah it's worth noting that very shortly after debuting the tomboy material live panda posted the lyrics of all of the songs on myspace in a similar fashion, and that was long before anything was released. maybe he's just really fond of these lyrics? hopefully it is in anticipation of a single tho. here's hoping he shares more!

panda played with his vocal effects & singing style A LOT on the live version of "flight" ... i wonder if he plays it straight on the studio recording or if we'll get some of those warp-y vocals -- that'd be cool

anyway i love this song and i trust he nailed the studio version too :D

Are you mistaking Tomboy for Person Pitch? Or did he do that for both

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking, I have serious doubts PB was still using MySpace during that time. Hell all the dudes were off the message boards as far as I know

He 100% did that for tomboy and it was definitely MySpace. I remember it being unusual at the time because people didn't really use myspace much anymore. Maybe he did that during person pitch too though, no idea, I wasn't around back then

Yes It was a setlist for tomboy on MySpace , but not the lyrics, I remember to see bullseye and other titles that didn’t make the cut

He didn’t said on a recent interview or to somebody here that he was planning to share more things about the album development this time? I’m sure that I read this somewhere..

Trying to decide if I should cave and listen to the boots again or just go into whatever is coming mostly fresh... I've heard each of the songs maybe three times.

depends if you tend to compare versions or if you embrace each version for what it is. ie. do you tend to suffer from demoitis or not???

i've just been diving into the boots some more since yesterday. i'm ready to love both versions for different reasons

People that actively listen to the boots and don't suffer from demoitis have some kind of as-yet-undiagnosed mental deficiency

I listened to all of the Grim Reaper era boots. The album didn't disappoint me at all but there were parts I became attached to that we're missing. I kind of want to hold out this time and just let this album drop on me.

I read the lyrics and watched the Desert Daze video. Part of the Math sounds like a hit. I love the vocal pattern during the "stop making it about your shit" section.

Anybody else notice how similar that part is to the "we don't share at all" section of Flight? It's cool, like a reoccurring motif.
