I couldn't make it to the show but even watching the live stream was goosebumps-inducing. Must have been incredible in that room. The crowd seemed so appreciative.

I would love to hear what the boys thought of the show. The must have felt it, too.

Some hot takes:

Visiting Friends finally clicked with me. Took me 11 fucking years, but damn that was good

The addition of Covered in Frogs and Prospect Hummer really adds to the flow of the Tongs. I always thought the studio album fizzled a little towards the end

Panda’s playing on Softest Voice was rough, but overall it made me appreciate the studio track more

Was bummed that Deakin didn’t make a guest appearance for the intro to Mouth Wooed Her

Stage design, lighting and camera work were top notch. Best lighting since the 07/08 LED columns.

Also props to Pitchfork. They get a lot of hate, but that was awesome of them for organizing that

Visiting Friends was so beautiful , I had the biggest smile on my face for the whole song

So many joyful moments but probably my favorite was the last part of Mouth Wooed Her when Avey sang better drink uuuupp... and the audience clapped :')
