Same thing with SJ, so I guess I lucked out. Sucks that it costs so much for you since you're in AUS.

For anyone who's interested! the record store at BGSU in ohio has two sealed copies of the Peacebone single, Fall Be Kind, and Prospect Hummer on CD. all brand new. I bought Campfire Songs, Sung Tongs, and CHz from there yesterday

1500 isn't a lot compared to the average RSD pressing number (usually 2500-5000 it seems) but it isn't that scarce. I'm sure we'll see at least a few copies up on online distros after the event.

Stores already up the price on RSD releases a bit but I'm sure it'll be available for cost+shipping on a few sites after the weekend.

The news of a prospect hummer vinyl made me all goosebumpy outside and warm inside
But I'm a bit worried the RSD vultures will buy the whole load and the put them on ebay for a $100 each... anyway, Crack Box was limited to 1000 and there was a much bigger hype around that one, and it's not impossible to get.
As part of this board's Euro trash I'll let you know if I find a European site that has some in stock after RSD.

I need help
I just purchased one of my fav albums ever, Sung Tongs, on vinyl. Leaf House sounds fucked up. Parts of the harmonies, especially in the beginning, sound really distant and it ruins it for me. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my record player or speaker. Maybe there was some defect in the pressing? I'm thinking of trying to return it. Or maybe the version on the vinyl is different?

there's nothing wrong with sung tongs on vinyl. if you cleaned the record and made sure your player doesnt have any issues, and you listened a couple times and the same thing happened each time, then it's probably a problem with the record. exchange it for a new copy.

I was really shocked when i first listened to leaf house with headphones at work (can only wear one at a time) I had only heard it on speakers before then. I literally had to stop what I was doing and restart the song and wear both headphones for the song lol
Listening to it mono very well explains what you were hearing

Yep it was my stereo. I have a single bose speaker that i hook up to my record play but when i played it on my friend's record player with surround sound it sounded perfect. i guess i need a better speaker setup to listen to sung tongs!

Finally got my Keep Cassette! They found some Avey Tare Tobin's and extra cassettes and posted on instagram and my gf's size was available so I snatched that shit up! YAY! Now we have matching avey shoes! (though mine are super dirty after 2 years of wearing them weekly)

my most recent pickups have been the prospect hummer 12", live at 9:30 boxset, transverse temporal gyrus (found it at a used store for 5 bucks!) and fall be kind 12" which i'd never picked up before.
i have all the albums but hollindagain. need to pick that up at some point still. kind of hoping for another paw tracks or someone repress that i can get until i become a rich person who can buy one of the handmade original pressing.

Found Prospect Hummer at Reckless Records in Chicago this past weekend. They might have at least one remaining copy since the guy gave me the copy he pulled from stock and set the one I pulled from the bin aside. Just a heads up to anyone in that area.
