I just listened to the Granada Theater version of Magicians, I can't phathom how different it is from the Music Box version, which is the only other version I've heard. This song has shaped up amazingly

I'm guessing probably shave a minute off of Broke and add it to Magicians, same goes for ACAB (heh) and Kings, other than that this seems not far off.

Was listening to a boot the other day where they followed Soul with Genie's and hoped that those two would end up together. It's like the slow, melty ending of Soul sucks you into a portal and then you come out the other side as Genie's starts ramping up. Will be a missed opportunity if they don't transition into each other.

There's very few of these specific sequences in the 2022 boots we have. Soul > Genie's in a couple 7/22 boots, and Defeat > Gem in Brooklyn, 3/22. Otherwise, new territory.

soul has always seemed to me to be a song without a proper ending, intended to transition into something else. it just sort of wanders off into space after the "ooh don't tempt me" bridge and i could see it melting into genie's so nicely i really really hope that's what they did

I love love love the cover. Think I like the Defeat art a little more on its own but this cover is much more *AC album cover* and I’m really happy about it. Agree that you call smell the mustiness wafting off of it. I understand the dislike for the construction paper but you must understand that these are the actual pieces that Abby was cutting during their Tiny Desk. They had to use them. Also really like the look of like pockets? An emphasis on hidden things. And as said before, wonderful colors.

Crazy tracklist. I didn't expect Soul Capturer to be the opener but it's actually quite perfect, Genie's following it is surprising to me. I've imagined King's Walk as a bold closer and I'm glad they went through with it.
