I think the three album covers was a great idea, especially considering I thought it was just Avey at first.

I can see how its interesting on one hand, and i am not so into it on the other

To who was asking about drop of sun studios, I was thinking that the 7" might have been recorded there, but then someone pointed out that they just wrote and rehearsed there so I guess that's it.

I got up at 8:00am for class today and there was no news(nose news) about the new song so I just said oh well and hopped in the car. The second I check my phone again in class, the single was out, and I had to wait all through class before listening. Pretty sure this is a sign that I should get the Geo cover, or that this album is going to be very special.

I can't wait to try and tab this song out, because anytime I do figure out an AC song on guitar/piano, I am always blown away by how simple it is in terms of the chords. Often they manage to take either very common or simple chord progressions, and turn them into super intricate and interesting songs. I've only heard it twice so far and I feel like there is soo much more I have yet to pick up on. Bummed I didn't bring headphones to school today so I could listen more. Atleast my car speakers are bretty good!

Merriweather tours had a lot of songs from HCTI and Tongs. CHz tours had a lot more from Feels. I wouldn't be shocked if Painting tours have a lot more from SJ if they were to keep moving up albums this way. Would be nice to have some pre-Feels jams done Painting style in there though.

this almost seems like some essential, pure sound for ac, like the way they were like always supposed to end up sounding or something. cant rlly explain it. but like i think i was waiting for this song

agreed, but anyone else upset that Geo never gets a spot on a sleeve front and is always relegated to the back? Panda gets two sleeve fronts, Avey gets one, Geo gets none. Gnip Gnop artwork is nice.

Uhhhhhh I could NOT get home from work soon enough today (couldn't order the album on mobile) and then I get home and my credit card wasn't working on domino's site... absolutely irate!

But called the bank, figured it out, order the PB cover Deluxe LP... absolutely ecstatic!

i like that even though the new song sounds very very animal collective and like a natural place for them to be... nobody really saw it coming. and it makes total sense that their 'studio album' would be a 40 minute pop album, without all the droney noodly stuff that comes from live performances. think ill miss that sort of thing though. interested to see the dynamics of the songs on the record.

I love Floridada, though the bridge is still pretty cheesy to me. I think the fast pace of the song sets the scene for an inaugural performance of Winter Wonderland
