I feel like THIS is the 'carnival ride' vibe that Avey talked about with Enter the Slash House.

It's got that fun, bubblegum pop aspect but the "flor flor flor flor" part in the chorus really gives the song that zany AnCo feel. It's fucking sweet man. Anyone else get me?

seriously though, i was skeptical of this short/fast song idea on paper... but now that ive heard what it entails i realize it just means every second of this thing will be pure ecstasy

the production on this song is probably their most vibrant, panda and avey's vocal trade-offs have never sounded better, the melody is euphoric, groove is infectious and i dont even mind waiting til february bc this is surefire gold

it honestly sounds like a soup of every album they've made so far distilled to just the core ingredients. the playful / handmade sounds of sung tongs...the harmonies and poppiness of mpp...the frantic energy of strawberry jam...the stomp of purple bottle ! so great.

i can't even get domino to load

yeah, it's been onsale for over an hour and we can't even buy it. you'd think domino would be concerned about that and missed sales.

they should be more concerned with it freebirding in the next 80 days tbh

I know there is no mention of vinyl colour but a clear LP would've been sweet so as to see the slipmat in action whilst the album is playing. Who knows, maybe domino thought of this already and we will have a nice surprise in store for us if anyone is ever actually able to order the LP!
