that’s an awesome list. I was planning on bringing Tangerine Reef, but after hearing Deakin talk about TR fans I might just bring his record to hopefully sign and maybe IIN

I thought it was, I couldn’t tell for a min there. That show was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I also need Avey and Deakin to drop those new songs ASAP lol

Does anyone remember a PW-era interview where they were asked which song is the most fun to perform? Anyone have a memory of that? I can't seem to find it.

Naw, the one I'm thinking of had a Painting With track as the answer. I think they said Summing the Wretch was the most fun to play of the PW tracks but I don't really remember. Thanks for trying though.

I know that Jeremy said his favorite tracks to play on the pw tour were Summing, Hounds and FloriDada. I also think I remember Panda saying that he got really sick of playing Natural Selection and that’s why they didn’t bring it back for the 2017 leg

no way! that's awesome. what was it like introducing them to the band and how did their relationship with AC's music change as they grew up? did they take to it right away or do they know the words just because you play their music a lot?
i'm not expecting my son to like the music i like, at least i don't want to put pressure on him to like the music i like, but obviously it'd be super fun if he got into AC so we could share that joy. we're finally out of the phase where he just wants to listen to kids music, or is at least receptive to me introducing him to different kinds of music. i'm trying to play him different styles/bands every time we get in the car now because that's the one time i can capture his attention, ha

Holy s*** dude! I’m so mad at myself for never getting around to the Music Box Village material until today!! (I have a very exhausting life, pls don’t come at me). This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard, and it may even be my top favorite of their works. I love when they make extremely psychedelic stuff like this. It’s like a Tangerine Reef 2.
Does anyone know if they’re ever going to officially release this?
Edit: also I’ve noticed they make a certain type of music when Pandas not around. I wonder if not having a drummer draws them to produces more music like Tangerine Reef.

Yeah it's unfortunate the whole things isn't available. It's so special. They did put out most of it on their
Bandcamp, but if you didn't listen to the
remaster I did, then you can hear the rest of the tracks in probably the best state they'll be in it until an official full soundboard recording is available.

Sucky thing is Josh revealed the hardrives with the full show are currently missing, otherwise it would be out already. [source: Jordan Randall's interview with him]

I think it should be clarified that while what Fov said is accurate, the way they put it is also a little ominous because Deakin also said that while they're missing the hard drive and the back up drive, they also know WHO has them, and that they would find their ways to the band soon.

I did miss a couple key details "They have a back-up of it somewhere" and "if it doesn't happen it's because someone literally blew up a hard drive...it should exist and we're trying to make it happen". TBF if he said it was lost forever I would use harder language than "sucky". I've been holding out on boots for the official release

Hey, does anyone know what samplers are as good at the SP-303 but at a more affordable price?

Your computer.
If you wanna use something on stage, sp303s and og sp404s are pretty great when it comes to return on value. You certainly wont find something "as good" for less. The on board fx alone are worth more than the $250-$300 you can get them for. Personally, I wouldn't buy a sampler much cheaper than that.

Yeah I probably could use my computer but I’d rather have something I can physically use. I guess I’ll just save up for one.

What are you trying to do with a sampler/etc? more context could help narrow down possibilities. also what is your budget?
