Hay, Sonic, thanks for the music recommendations, the lyrics and all the above, your presence in here makes the wait less stressful.
PS
I'm really diggin' the Classic Innocents cd, the harmonies are quite beautiful!

Think about it for a second... if Pete didn't post on here, we would probably be like "is this album still coming out?" (Though I guess a few people on here did talk to Noah/Danny after shows)

and the last bit of "official news" was this
a tentative title and release date, not much to go by in the first place

we say "december 13th" more often than "13th of september." just our convention.

The wait for PB MGR is killing me! My only exposure to the tunes was the Austin Psych Fest performance - definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I recently listened to Matthewdavid's new LP and a couple of the tracks reminded me of Panda's new material - thought I would share - I'm really digging this album.

@Sonic Boom
you've mentioned a few times that noah's production on reaper has really taken some big steps and that he has a whole new layer of depth in these new recordings (which i think we're all very excited about). so i was wondering if he ever mentioned anything about his studio time spent with the daft punk guys (while recording doing it right) and if that affected his approach to production or using studio tools at all? seems like it would be hard for such an experience (working with musical idols) not to affect you, but just wondering if he ever talked about it at all

Like everyone here, I'm getting too antsy for the release so I channeled that restless energy into a "Sequential Circuits" project (as it has been the lead-off for Panda's recent concerts). I chopped the sweet bass from the Chicago boot and layered it in with the Warsaw boot, starting around 1:30. I synced the audio with a great video recording of the song. The reaper lingers... and lingers and lingers...

ClownFrown, this is so good, and a brilliant idea, it's about as close to having a single drop without it happening, had to make an account just to tell you!
Seriously, I feel like I'm reliving my experience seeing him at Austin Pysch and the Fillmore, tytytyty!

You should do it for the whole album, then CA can get it sent around everywhere. It'll be close enough to a freebird to force Domino to release the album earlier !!
We can dream...

Think about that big fat synth at the end of Comfy in Nautica, and then the THX drone that Panda has been ending sets with lately. If that THX drone closes out the album, does that signify PB coming full circle? Should PP, TB, and GR be considered a trilogy??

The vocal melody from Nadir has been stuck in my head for about a month now. The studio version is going to melt faces
