Oh also I had a dream last night that I got to interview Pandy. I asked him if he had been playing any video games recently and he said Just Cause 2.
I was pretty depressed when I woke up.

I hate how i can't listen to Danse in public or around people in general for fear of pissing everyone off with the high pitch noises.

My sister and pops were just bitchin about Spirit they've vanished. I played it from the basement, and they said they could hear the high pitches from upstairs. I would later play dumb and turn it down and say " what noise " ? haha

I think people are under the impression that you're just listening to a bunch of high pitched noises because that's the only part that travels across the room.

Sweet man. I love it when they hate my music they think this stuff is worse than the metal I used to listen to years ago. Like I'm talking heavy metal like

Thanks, it was definitely a fun night. I actually didn't spend a ton of time listening to music but what I did listen to was great. Fickle Cycle and Loch Raven were both an experience.

Next time you trip, make it a point to either watch Oddsac or listen to Transverse Temporal Gyrus. Some of my trippiest moments came from those two releases. Hell, even listening to In The Flowers can prove to be really awesome. I remember when I heard it the first time tripping, Avey's vocals seemed to create a vortex of sound swirling around me, repeating constantly as if there was massive delay on the vocals, trailing off slightly every measure and bringing life to the next lines. Amazing stuff.

Horrible idea. Especially for a beginner.
Listening to ODDSAC on the other hand is not.

Just because you couldn't handle it doesn't mean he can't. But perhaps you're right.
Just listen to it instead. I'd prefer watching because there is too much psychedelic goodness to pass up. THE FACES. OH, THE FACES YOU'LL KNOW.

Thanks for the advice dudez, though for the record it's realistically going to be kind of a long time before I get to do it again. Reflecting on last night, just listening to oddsac would probably be enough, but who knows how I'll feel when that time rolls around.

Just looking visually interesting is not enough for a movie to be good to watch while tripping, but it does help. That being said, while ODDSAC is a visually striking film, a lot of the things that are visually striking are mad creepy too. Sure a family choking to death on marshmellows with waves and shit flying around them and a vampire melting and dying in the sun looks cool, but is it really something you want to be exposed to while tripping? I'd think most people wouldn't. You know just as well as I that psychedelics are way more than just visuals.
