yeah but that makes "the Animal collective" seem like it comes from "Animal" rather than the stereolab track

I think one of two things happened iirc. Either they wouldn't let him play the keyboard part live/made him use a backing track, so he put his hands behind his back, OR.. during the recording his keyboard somehow turned off/got unplugged, so he just put his hands behind his back, and then afterwords they dubbed in his part for the broadcast.

if ya really wanna watch it, just search for the episode itself "Catcher in the Rye 2: The Catchening" either on web streams or maybe a t0rrent. I would try myself but I'm at work.

just checked and Elizabeth Banks is in the episode in case that entices anyone else to track it down for me
