How come the Tomboy thread had 300 pages? Was it just a longer wait or was it more hyped and if so why? lol.
More hyped since it was after person pitch....and chz hadn't been released yet.

i'm sure if pbmtgr had as many singles as tomboy this thread would have just as many pages. just more stuff to talk about and more reason for us to post.

Danny said everything he played at Super Bock would be on the album. Hoping to get to a computer soon to upload that.

I think it was a similar, if not identical, set to the US shows (minus the Tomboy tracks). Pete even said a few weeks ago that the recent live show is the guts of the album.

Didn't the setlists of those shows vary? The one I went to he played Preakness. Imagine if that made it on the album.

He wasn't able to do an encore so there were only "new" songs. I also don't have a tracklist.

hey peoples long time lurker, first time poster. i don't know if this has been posted anywhere in this thread or another one but the track "Can't Come Back" (at least that's what it's titled in my bootleg) sounds like it samples this Julee Cruise song.

I think Nadir is really one of the best songs he's ever written

it really is. these songs are so incredibly strong just for their melodies alone, but I guess a lot of pbears stuff is... its just crazy that he happens to add on equally good surrounding stufff
come to yr senses(vacuum) is my 2nd favorite.... such a great song, it's kind of minimal but then also feels like this huge song.... omg i kno i'm gonna love the textures on this album so hard. those almost organ-y super processed guitarish synths (or guitars?) in nadir and senses especially. metallic-y and spacey..

Out of the four songs that I've listened to, Tropic of Cancer/Can't Come Back is definitely my favorite. I find myself singing it throughout the day, even though it's a simple melody. It just works. Noah's delivery is superb as well. I wish I knew the lyrics, but they sound suprisingly dark based off of what I can make out. Here's what I am guessing based off of a couple of boots:
It's all in the family, and then you sneak it all away
When they said he's ill, laughed it off as if it's no big deal
What a joke to joke no joke
When they said he's ill, laughed it off as if it's no big deal
What a joke to joke no joke
It's all in the family, and then you sneak it all away
She has to eat well too (?)
And don't lay it down
And you can't come back, you won't come back, you can't come back to it
And you won't come back, you can't come back, you won't come back to it
And you won't come back, you can't come back, you won't come back to it
And you won't come back, you can't come back, you won't come back to it
It's all in the family and then you'll sneak it all away
She has to eat well too (?)
Got to like it all, got to like what kills
It kills just to like what kills
Got to like it all
So it goes to show what all things know
Just one thing keep it light, keep it alive
Dead or alive
These guys get to keep on and you cannot hold it upside (?)
Keep it all on the other side
And you can't come back, you won't come back, you can't come back to it
And you won't come back, you can't come back, you won't come back to it
And you won't come back, you can't come back, you won't come back to it
And you won't come back, you can't come back, you won't come back to it

do you guys think this will be hailed as a masterpiece by everyone when released like MPP and Person Pitch? I think it already has potential to. It could've been the album of the year this year, it will deff be up there next year though.

i contacted the portuguese artist who made that drawing of noah playing videogame with the grim reaper, i told him about the good response from the fans here and asked if it was made to illustrate the album, he thanked but he said that he can't share any information right now and we just have to wait for what noah is planning..
so nothing new, but is definitely not a fan art

It does sort of fit the comic book vibe that Noah stated in the German radio interview.
