Some of my favorite songs are like that. You think you've heard it before, so hearing it again is like revisiting an old friend. But you've never heard it before. Probably has to do with scales or some shit.

think it was the emotion of the verse's melody is like a feeling i always got but like shunned it bc i thought it was self indulgent or something so it seemed really close to me

I love how Avey says MPP was pretty much a Panda Bear solo album when he wrote like half the songs
