what are some guesses for some songs that will be brought back to life for this album's tour? I'd love to see people used as an intro/outro for a song
hoping for a few MPP songs that fell off the setlist during the chz tour, would be nice to see them again. also fireworks.
the reworked version of who could win a rabbit was awesome, though i'd guess it's unlikely theyd bring back a previously reworked version.
as for songs ive never seen live, people would definitely be cool.

I can tell what songs I don't wanna be on the tour...did you see the words, brothersport, my girls. ..I love them to death but I'd rather them make room for songs they either rarely done or never done live. ..between those 3 songs that's almost over 25mins of play time. I'm sure we've all heard those songs live and they are on the live LP.

I'd love for them to bring back Fireworks, grass, safer, #1, tikwid.....anything really from Sung Tongs reworked! Anything from feels they usually don't bring on tour and also even anything from water curses would be cool! Its really all going to depend what's going to fit sound wise with the new stuff!

I've been hoping to see daily routine live for a while. Hoping for that + In The Flowers, Safer, Essplode, Fireworks, Bleed, People

Panda just needs a new jammer like brosport ... all his songs were pretty weak on CHz. His drumming was awesome tho!

I loved both of noah's tracks on CHz, but I get that they aren't as jammable

they should do a hip hop version of Daily Routine like they did with Taste
something along these lines but harder and more fucked up

Oh rosie was lame, in my opinion, but yes New Town Burnout was dope, probably one of my favorites of the LP. but ya neither one were jammers, clearly.
I feel like Oh Rosie was a lazy ass song by Panda, or thats what I hear anyways. I mean he's capable of making some awesome tunes, i really don't even understand where that even came from? I felt kinda bad for PB fans for that album.. Its almost like he didn't even give a shit about making that album.

Forgive me for screwing up the song tittle. But outside of the percussion on that album by him, the lonely two songs he had on the album were hardly impressive by any means. I'm not trying to hate, Its just my respected opinion

rosie > ntb
yr probably not being serious but panda only contributed two songs because most of what he was working on was going towards tomboy at the time (ntb was in fact a leftover tomboy track)

Rosie Oh is a really stand-out Animal Collective track if you ask me. Definitely in my top 3 for the record.
It's like going on a swampy, marshy trek in search of self-realization and I love it.

Not too serious anyways ... my point is Im hoping for more of the jammer songs by him on this next album.

i wonder how many songs panda is singing lead vocals on the new one...
12 tracks, i wonder if any of 'em are "interludes" or super short songs .... the only other studio album* that had more than 11 tracks was sung tongs, and that one had "sweet road" and "college" ... both 1 minute-ish
* ie not counting ODDSAC

Im an Avey fan, hands down. I follow much closer to his work then PB's , so to be fair, i shouldn't say anything bad about PB's songs. I just don't connect with his music like I do with Aveys, and I'm sure for others its the opposite and theres nothing wrong with that. So i don't mean to offend any diehard PB fans, bc i understand that if a PB fan said something about Aveys work, id immediately be defensive.

Danse has 12 tracks, but one of those is A Manatee Dance obv.
Hoping for slightly more avey songs than panda and it would be dope to have an instrumental song or two.
Rosie Oh is the weakest song on CHz to me. I remember loving it live but I think for one the studio version is too cutesy (and I love cutesy stuff, it just doesn't feel like it has much substance) and it should not have been separated from Crimson.
NTB is god tier.

gotta say its pretty suspect that pb started writing the pbvsgr songs when they were recording chz, like whyd he write 2 admittedly crappier songs like the 2 chz ones and then go on to write some of his best tracks of all time? guess well nvr know but at least we can all agree that rosie o/new town are booty

they played a cool 'hip hop' sounding version of taste during the first tour of the chz material

Yes. Thank you. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming of hype for the new album & general good vibes.

oh, man this is such a dead horse to be beating, but to explain anyway, i didn't know there were those who would consider centipede hz the follow-up to ODDSAC, rather than it being the follow up to MPP. you know, obviously oddsac was recorded in a studio, but it's not a "studio album" per se. it's just technicality, and I suppose it's up for subjectivity? a place like wikipedia, discogs, rateyourmusic, in categorizing AC's albums would have under studio albums, MPP (2009) and then Centipede HZ (2012) ... ODDSAC would be in a different category... Painting With would be generally known as the "10th studio album"...
it's fine if you think different, just letting you know where I was coming from...
