I actually am pretty sure it's not a direct sample from BOTW, the voice sounds pretty different, maybe it's an interpolation/someone he got to say the same words/a different sample. Yeah it sounds better than that person's voice for sure.

First I'm hearing of the boots. Think this lad'll wait till the whole puppy drops. I heard somewhere that he was thinking of making it more strippeddown and dubby, like drums, bass, voice. I would LOVE that. This lad (me) is already boarding the hype train, even though reaper wasn't my fave. This one sounds like it could be shorter and hopefully a little more in line with my kinda taste (hehe). Love u animals!

I think it all sounds super dubby.... Greaper was far more hip hop than this.
I can hear great Sister Nancy vocalising in animal/mineral, dub techno beats elsewhere
Asleep at the wheel got that dub beat but sings it like a rocksteady ballad

Yeah you are probably right, maybe just stretched a little bit and pitched up.
Anyone know if the same licensing stuff applies for vidjagame samples as music?

let's hope it goes uncleared on record... shit is waaaay too contextualized for me. then again tchaikovsky's pas de deux chord progression felt overly familiar to me when i first heard Tropic of Cancer and I slowly got used to it...

since we have this new higher quality recording now i took a stab at animal vegetable mineral just for fun! anyone wanna help? was able to decipher quite a bit, cool stuff in here!
stuff not in brackets i'm very confident about, stuff in brackets is what it sounds like phonetically to me but can't be correct lol

as a kid I had one of those 20 questions electronic games and the first question it would always ask is "is it an animal, a mineral, or a vegetable?" kind of cheating because it's only supposed to ask yes/no questions but oh well

I combined the two different live recordings of 'Animal Mineral Vegetable' into one track. One version had better instrumental fidelity and the other had better vocal fidelity, so I chopped'n'screwed the best out of both. Can't wait to hear the studio version of this behemoth! In the meantime, don't let that demoitis flare up too much.
