A hard reset won't clear the portal out

It's pretty disrespectful to other listeners on here to imply they don't get it. I wouldn't say 'your undiscerning critical ear and desperate need for satisfaction have blinded you to reality'.

The comment that the songs shift and morph depending on which part you're listening to might need one single example to back it up, though, because it comes across as meaningless hollow rhetoric. It's also meaningless to say 'they keep on giving'. In what sense?

To me, as to a number of people who like them, they sound like prescribed exercises. I like a number of them for certain melodies and harmonies, they're catchy for the most part, they're energetic. They've just never been so formulaic and predictable before.

It's one thing to discuss the music but another to say that people are listening incorrectly.

By "what"ever means necessary (wink wink), I procured a lossless hi-res rip of the 7'' and, again, performed some mastering magic on the two songs so they match the eq, tone/texture, and loudness of the digital 'Painting With' files as closely as my ears could hear (it doubly clear). In the case of never getting digital files of these, I think this will be as close as we'll get. If you're an ocd, mild-audiophile nerd like myself, the rip-quality--lossless format--bit depth--sample rate stuff matters. So, I will crunchatize thee if thee so asks with the following:

24/88.2 wav files (hi-res), 16/44.1 wav files (cd-res), high quality front and back scans of the 7'' and accompanying spectrograms of each song

This way, if you downloaded the hi-res PW files, you can play the 7'' hi-res files without sample rate issues. I also provide regular cd quality res files for ease of listening across different sources. I trust you can find a way to convert to lossy (mp3/aac) if you want, but I'm only into that good huge file shiz. And please, please, please, don't go willy nilly sharing the dl link to this shiz. Among CA peeps, fine (even though there are lurkers among us with less-than noble intentions... I'm looking at you indieshuffle Deak-prose hijacker). But pretty please, don't start throwing this around on soundclown, ootube, guyspace, or whatever the latest streaming craze.*
