Nice! Thanks. Yeah - I love that sound. Bouncier and more upbeat than I was expecting based on the Madrid boots. So jazzed.

i don't want to hype myself up tooooooo much, but every description of the album, every snippet and every indication points to this being one of my favorite AC projects ever

gotta see the live show too, that's for sure

Yeah i'm more excited about this than pretty much every project since I jumped on the wagon 10 years ago. The snippets have been nuts and I've always loved panda bear on guitar. The live band for the tour is gonna be insane. I really hope he gives some PBVGR and Tomboy (maybe even PP) songs the full band treatment.

No cage, I already shared all of the info I found in the general thread. Panda single vinyl out next Friday called Defense. Presumably a bside or SG single

Sounds like it’s meant to be sort of a surprise thing so I didn’t share any links but you can google panda bear 0887829145774 if you want to see it yourself

My record store called to tell me they have it in along with my ST Live record but won’t sell the single til the 15th to honor their agreement with Domino. I’d call that a hard confirm

so this is a one-sided 7-inch?

hyped that we're a week away from the SG era beginning

I would say "Defense" on one side and the non-album track on the other side.

Thanks Jordan. You pretty clearly laid that out in your previous post so that's on me for not paying better attention that we will in fact be getting two songs next week!

Kinda cool we got Panda's "Goalkeeper" in 2016 and eight years later we're getting "Defense." I hope in 2032 we'll get "Offense" or "Striker" ha.

Excited to see the visual aesthetic for the new era too... but most of all just excited to actually hear the rock band set-up in reality after imagining what it'll sound like from Deakin and Panda's descriptions of the sound.

Guess I was bang on with the single date. Hoping we get an album release date (for mid Jan) next week too!

- his first dark-colored album cover?
- spring/summer North American tour
- bops

with deakin on the boards i know this is gonna sound amazing

i trust this project immensely - i won't be let down
