Noah on guitar definitely, Jeremy on drums again would be a dream, get Maria Reis or some other dope Portuguese players in there and we got some good cooking

That sounds amazing, funny timing too because I've just recently been revisiting the Madrid boot, all the unreleased tracks are so good. I wonder if this means that SG will be recorded with more organic "rock band" arrangements with PB playing all the instruments... would be new ground for him certainly.

Wonder if it's the 3 piece he mentioned a while back.
Also, damn, I thought SG would be a lot closer. Considering he's not sure if Dean Blunt will be on it it's gotta be at least a year away

I assumed he had SG in the bag already and it was just sitting with domino until next year assuming skiffs 2 is a q3/4 ‘23 release

Same, actually I thought it might come out this year. silly me. I mean, it's been over 3 years since he mentioned SG for the first time so I assume it will have to be '24

They should do a Sung Tongs 20th anniversary edition with like Other music recordings and some more recent show recordings in one bundle. Would be amazing. Doubt it will happen though. Anyone think they might do something?

If Danny is Uncle Donut, I wonder if he's the uncle referred to in Flight. Just a random thought.

they could do an official release of a recording from the tour, that would be pretty sick

True. We already have the Pitchfork video, though.
If they’re gonna do something like that, I think it would be for Feels. Anniversary editions don’t seem like something they would do, but the Sung Tongs tour was a surprise so who knows…

Oooh I would love a Feels 4LP with live recordings and maybe the People EP. I think that would be cool

Oh yeah. Somehow I forgot about Pitchfork, such a good set. Would still be cool to get some recordings, ofc, with good recordings of Don't believe the pilot, etc...
I never thought we'd get a remastered album, so I feel like anything is possible at this point

Love how PB keeps name-dropping Sinister Grift as if it isn't something, like, a handful of fans know about

Does anyone have an mp3 copy of the OG Surfer's Hymn demo that was shared when Pete first started posting on CA? He might have shared it and then it got passed around. It was different from the single version that was released (and obviously different from the album version).
If you have it and could punch me a link, I'd be very grateful--want to recreate a project I have since lost that incorporated that version of the song.

Winter - crimson enclosure (Avey Tare Remix)
Pantha du Prince - Liquid Lights (Deakin of Animal Collective Remix)

If an album release glitch did this and not someone who was either dumped by or broke up with an AC fan, that's still pretty funny.

If this is the level of songwriting we can expect from a random one off remix, Deakins next album release is going to be better than I can even imagine

I could be wrong, but I remember it going for $99 or something like that. I bought two.

Haha yeah, that’s gotta be the worst of the covers I’ve seen so far. Unfortunately for you, I won’t be giving mine up until my wife divorces me. It was a birthday present from her when we first started dating, and I’d say it’s probably the coolest of all the covers I’ve seen B)
