I totally get it.

I actually feel like releasing a single kinda ruins the whole listen-to-it-all-fresh. Since people will cave and listen to that one song. I'd rather also listen to the whole thing all at once.

I find myself skipping singles sometimes on albums, since I've heard them before so many times. I'd rather not do that with this album.

If it's actually a 2016 release, and the single is out Monday, that means we might have to wait 1-2 months to hear it. Damn.

In The Flowers and Spirit They've Vanished, such amazing opening songs.

This single being the first track makes me wanna listen to it even less lol, since I wanna be able to enjoy the album and obviously the first song. Otherwise, album comes out, I've heard the single, so I'd skip the first song.

someone who listened at the airport said it sounded similar to MPP but without samples and with modular synth percussion. so more MPP than chz.

Not gonna lie, both of the tracks that we've heard sound MOST like CHz to me, just with MPP Noah + Avey vocal trade-offs.

So, basically perfect. CHz is my favorite.

Sounds like it's gonna be CHZ part II to me. Like, the instrumentation sounds so similar to Pulleys, especially with the rising sine synths in the background... And I love CHZ, but this is the first time where hearing new AC and it sounds like old AC

To me that is! And over totally awful recordings! Either way I'm very excited to hear whatever comes Monday and will purchase the shit out of the whole album.

Also I'm excited to hear more musical Dadaism from them

Edit: I don't feel betrayed at all. AC is just doing what they can to stay current with all the other musicians releasing their records in weird ways. You gotta do what you gotta do to get noticed.

I get what you're saying. While fans like us having been waiting impatiently, the people that actually heard it first probably didn't even know what they were hearing or care.

From what I've heard so far, the tempo and songwriting seems similar to CHz. I was a bit unsure at first but when I listen closely to the recordings it sounds like there's a lot of cool sounds to hear. I'm excited to hear the whole album, it could be a major hit.

TBH couldn't care less how they release it. Better to do something fun with the album before it inevitably freebirds.
