yo ac/dp/gb was only the trifecta circa 2009 when they all fucked shit up but gb/dp have both fallen off (especially gb) and almost dont count anymore. everyone knows ac/bd/ggd is the tru trifecta but i mean if were honest ac will always be on its own level #fanboi

I agree with whoever said it sounded like slasher flicks, I couldn't help but listen to a minute of one of those clips of burger Burglars and got slasher flicks vibes.

Yeah I also got Slasher vibes on the vocal melodies, quite 'wriggly' but with Noah's MPP laser beams thickening up the broth. Geo no doubt gonna add a little saltiness with a nice cured ham shank (metaphor for electronic noises). Definitely going to be a soup-themed disc, should have called it Potage au Denis (de la Disco).

So The Burglars does sound very Slasher Flicks. And Verical reminds me of Ariel Pink.

Sort of surprised more recordings haven't surfaced by now. Think I'll hold off anyhow

Ridiculous to be basing this off of one shitter recording of a song but the synthesised drumming on Burglars does sound like little spatters of paint hitting a canvas. Think the album could have this whole wacky painting kind of aesthetic to it. The song titles certainly seem to support a really lighthearted, mirthful approach. Just hoping the palette has room for some of the darker colours and tones

there are some (non-alvin band) vocaroos floating around, don't know how many cause I haven't listened to them. No legit song/album rips yet as far as I know. Floridada single is supposed to come out Monday
