It's boulder field @ hickory run state park in PA. I went last October. Sad fact: the rock that Noah played drums on is right next to a boulder that someone spray painted "woop woop ICP" on. That's how you'll know you're in the right spot.

My friend who's only familiar with post-Sung Tongs AC just listened to Untitled from Spirit for the first time. He said that the feedback noises reminded him of the suction tube that the dentist puts in your mouth, just something about the way the signal randomly cuts out at times. I have to say I can actually hear the comparison strangely enough, but I never would've made that connection in a million years

I saw a comparison somewhere (think it was last fm) that it sounds like an alien being horribly tortured. Always loved that comparison.

I think that's more of a criticism than a comparison, because who's actually heard an alien being tortured before? Strange to think about

Nah I heard it once that Untitled sounds like a demon being tortured by a higher power.

Mine's Water Curses, followed closely by FBK. I think they both sound unlike anything else they have done, even more than the other EPs.

FBK, no doubt. Graze is my all time jam since I used to wake up and sing that song all the time.

Prospect Hummer til i die

was hoping someone would say prospect hummer. it is really cool. but fall be kind is where it's at. the day it freebirded i had an essay due to write about what defines american culture. so i wrote about fall be kind. that album hit me so hard. what would i want sky, graze, and i think i can are such dope tracks.

Yeah FBK is legendary... I actually think it's the best piece of music in the AnCosphere to induct new listeners. Such a refined sound.

But Water Curses is so psychedelic, I love it.

edit: oh and I never could get 100% into Prospect Hummer... it's sugary sweet but it's short and just hits me as an afterthought compared to the others.

I can't explain what it is about Prospect Hummer, I love the way the guitars in It's You just totally envelop you. and I love the sequencing, Learning how to dive is so perfect after Baleen sample. also Visiting Friends is one of my fav AC songs and baleen sample feels like it's cut from the same cloth as that song

I do love FBK and Water Curses a ton too, but for different reasons. Hard to compare
