It's a song he was playing on his most recent tour. We're not sure if it's just a single or if Come and Goes, another song he's been playing on tour, will be with it

when a physical release of a single COMES, a b-side usually GOES with it.

Are we thinking there will be a physical release? I assumed this would be digital only.

Listened to this for the first time in ages after listening to his new single and this is still pure brilliant. Like a beam of light. Anyone who doesn't dig this is pedo tier.

I feel that way about Token although Nod to the Folks might be better if he sings the higher part during the chorus for the re-release. Either way it's crazy how much I love this album after 8 months. Dolphin is indeed an incredible song

FINALLY starting to click with me and it's about time. Master is my new fav and the first half of the album is damn near perfect.

Yea...this album is definitely one of 2019's best. #2 or 3 for me.

why do people like the high melody from Nod to the Folks live lol I kinda hate it. it's too high. the way he sings it on the record is perfect

I guess it's probably just a case of preferring whichever version you heard first

Weird that it's been almost a year since Buoys freebirded

I like it more than Grim Reaper, which doesn't seem to be the popular opinion anywhere, but oh well

Rusty Santos and Panda Bear make such a great combination. The dry, off-kilter production reminds me a lot of Young Prayer in that regard, and I always thought that one was underrated too, at least in the production department

i remember struggling to figure out how i felt about buoys the day that shit freebirded. think i was home for thanksgiving or something and smoked a spliff and popped it on my grados.
i could not decide if i liked it or was mad at him. week later and i was listening every day. definitely a great album, and i definitely appreciated it more because it had to grow on me.
always felt a little pissy towards diehard ac or pb fans who hated it. i feel like they just decided on first or second listen how they felt about it and didn't give it a fair chance. it took me a while to like get into feels or sj. isn't that ac's whole thing? taking time for listeners to get into it? i dunno. i get it's a far departure from the pb/ac we were used to, but cmon. these are some good fucking songs. has anything panda bear has ever worked on been bad?

preakness, you summed up my exact experience. i blame seeing the BUOY tour and repeatedly replaying boots for why I was initially disappointed/mad, and i wouldn't be surprised if that was a lot of people's feeling at first

like, I love studio Buoys (the song) and I Know I Don't Know now, but when I heard the freebird, I was frustrated he dropped the yelps from Buoys and the DnB elements from IKIDK. i didn't really start appreciating the album as its own thing until i heard it for the 3rd or 4th time when I recognized what PB was trying to do sonically and thematically.

for people who still don't like it, give it another shot or two and try divorcing yourself from the boots. more importantly though, and i know everyone says this, but i *really* started appreciating the album when i finally heard it on a stereo system with a subwoofer, so try listening to it LOUD in a car or a hi-fi setup with solid bass if you have access to one
