That second Panda song was gorgeous but ends way too soon! That one definitely feels more like a Dean Blunt collab than a Buoys outtake.

Tomboy is definitely my favorite studio, but PBVSGR is my favorite live stuff (rehearsal mixes are the jam)

Review

The first half of this film is literally so chaotic but in a really good way. The opening credits are sick, but I can’t tell if that’s just because I like Floridada by Animal Collective.

Oh cool, may have to see that if it comes here.

Also fingers crossed we get an EP from Avey or digital Homies release in October.

Nah. They gotta release something soon to hype the upcoming shows. It's just gonna come without warning one of these days.

I honestly like that new Panda Bear more than anything off of Buoys. It's basically the same type of songwriting, I realise, and it was probably something originally meant to be on the album, but I like the way it sounds so much more.

Don't forget we will probably get sleep cycle vinyl soon. He was posting about test pressings awhile back.

Couldn't give less fuck about Sleep Cycle vinyl but pumped that new AC is probably only a month away.

Seems like it'd be a no-brainer to release it ahead of the tour, especially since it's already mixed.

Only downside of releasing Midnight Special before the tour is that it might be so good they just retire.

i'm definitely not on the side that considers Sleep Cycle to be a top tier release but i'm excited to have it on vinyl nonetheless!
