What if the apocalypse now sample and "make my day" OPEN the album.

Principe Real is a lot shorter in this too. One verse, one chorus, and done. Hopefully he'll put out something closer to the ATP version. On the other hand, the vocal performances sound way more confident compared to ATP, so that's a great sign.
The rhythm in the new song didn't click for me until the second listen. There's another strong Tribe-esque beat buried beneath the vacuum noises, with the organ chords on eighth-note off beats. I like it.
Also, I'm now absolutely certain that my favorite song from the boots, "Take Care," actually goes "Tick Tick" or "Take a Trick" (he talks about magic and spells and shit) or some other combination of words with T's at the beginning and K's at the end. I'm calling it "Fill Those Spaces" and I will fight anyone who tells me otherwise.

I wouldn't worry that the songs are shorter, or that "Shut Up" lost it's lyrics forever, or that "Do It" and "Make My Day" are no longer around because it was a festival where he had time restraints, a certain energy to uphold, and technical difficulties which did something to his set, whatever that may be...not to mention this was only the second time ever that he's played this set of songs. After a few more shows we can all start crying about how songs, verses, lyrics, etc are gone forever

Yeah I've had that as the title too but it seemed like a majority of people on here were using Take Care so no point in confusing downloaders. There's like 2 or 3 different fan titles per song (a la Material Things, Little Girl, I Don't Need)

LOL @ Will to Joy. I've always hated that title. So glad there's not a AC song called "Will to Joy".

good god i have insanely high hopes for the new album. probably over played that ATP boot by this point.
can already see myself listening to 'one of them' on the train back home looking wistfully out the window.
is Q1 2014 release realistic enough? can't wait no longer

How many of these new tracks do you think will have harmonies added to them? I remember that the live Tomboy songs were nothing like the album ones

i saw one photo and it looked like he had an octatrack.
this stuff could be performed on one of those, or a couple sp404s as i am pretty sure was his setup in the past. samplin is samplin. both those things have built in fx but he probably has some external fx things too. the thing on the right is probably a mixer since it has 4 xlr outputs.

like the little yelps panda puts in at the end of some words when he performs live, but then on records he sings it with less energy

Great example, listen to the pitchfork 2010 set vs. the album versions. He goes OFF live

there's got to be a better word than yelping to describe his live vox.

ayo there could be an octatrack but for person pitch he used two sp303's and for tomboy he used a korg m3 workstation and an sp555. I dont think any sp's are bein used, or maybe they are. his mixer is on his left i think so the one with four xlr's i think is a kind of central instrument in the setup. idek why i want to know so bad but it llooks so fun

yelpscream sounds like the name of a lame villian in a horror sci-fi movie. Not that hellraiser is lame but kind of like that sort of name.

This iPhone boot sounds great I think. I hope you guys have luck with the first half and are able to get it out there, the first grouping of songs Panda plays are 2cool4school. Especially the heart and soul song, when the beat drops out in the second half of the song oh man
