This one is the promo! Cool! I got both the promo and the regular release - the regular one sounds horrible on the Grubbs side, and apparently, it's a mispress thing. But the promo sounds much better.

Got mine yesterday. Looks legit. Seller said he/she picked up a few at a sale of some sorts. No other details. Enjoy the sounds.

Damn Akaio. The only copy of that tape listed on eBay right now is $150.00. Nice score!

Haven't gotten mine yet, but I think I had it shipped to my school mailbox, so it's probably sitting in a closed post office right now.
Ah well, gives me something to look forward to when I get back

So my tape finally came in the mail and I'm all jazzed about it
I'm unsure if I really want to unwrap it though or keep it all nice and sealed in its shrinkwrap
My tape deck isn't even working right now

Has anyone heard anything about RSD 2014? Is there any AC-related releases planned? All I've found this far that I want is a The Julie Ruin 7"...

i've never understood this. they pages are enormous, yet, the text of the lyrics is still tiny. seems like not the best use of space. i definitely appreciate the lyric booklet being included, but I feel like he could have done more with it

Definitely the two you mentioned Archie. I know theres a deakin remix for a Phoenix song. And I'd get Prince Rama's first record because Deakin and Avey helped record and produce that.

great collection, AP. i've never bothered to get the remixes AC did but those are a really nice touch.

I think the only things you've got on there that i haven't ever ended up with (remixes aside) are the OG Hollinndagain, second CD of feels (have mp3 but no physical copy), white & clear tomboys, surfers hymn 12", and keep. I did, however, go back and get the OG HCTI after I had the repress, though, and it was totally worth it for the awesome poster.

I didn't really intend to get both the white and clear for tomboy but the clear one I had was warped so I did it. There's a poster of HCTI in the original pressing? Didn't know that. Anything else thats different?

Oh and could you possibly put up a pic of the poster?

the poster is awesome - totally worth getting the first pressing, especially since I found it for the same price as the one that's currently on the shelves.

one other thing that I didn't snap a pic of because it's so minor is how the release number is noted. on the OG, it's noted as "PAW1" while it's "PAW 01" on the reissue.

Akaio, thanks for the heads up! He wasn't listed on the album but I assumed he was on it being that it didn't say it was a remix or anything on the 12". And yeah, I kind of want the Spirit CD just because its the first real AC release. Also, I should have put the mythical Automine 7" on there but I'm sure no one will ever find one.

lol'd at "keeping it right." that does look beyond completist. i've got all of the cds except for spirit and danse as they were originally sold, pb s/t and homebase. i was really close to getting one of either spirit or danse on discogs last year, but right when i was adding it to my cart, something inside of me said, "really? two versions of this isn't enough? you really need a third?" so i ended up passing... if it pops up for 5-10 bucks one day i'll definitely hop on that.

Spirit and Danse are definitely both worth it
Also I'm still debating opening this Keep tape

just found crack box in immaculate condition (maybe played once if that) for $75 at a local record store. had to pick it up, the owner said it had only been there for about a week. that's a pretty good price for it these days, right?

Pretty sure the clear copies of Tomboy didn't have as many problems as the white ones, you should be good.

I can't remember if I've seen the poster that came with the OG HCTI or not. Is there a picture of it anywhere here?
