Amen. I know exactly what you mean. For something so sparse, it's incredibly rich in detail and subtlety. Again, to echo my post in the general thread, I think that's one of their great strengths and it's something you tend to get more with instruments versus loops. I know that's an old man thing to say and I love loops and electronic music and house and techno but them playing the guitar brings something out beyond the melodies.

I'm so happy, I've interviewed Noah 3 weeks ago and the article has just been published (in french) :

Domino proposed me to interview Avey too, for another magazine...

I feel like I'm listening to it wrong or something.
I really want to like it. the soundscapes are very interesting.
but i listen to it and it just feels like a blur and by the time i'm finished listening to it I've forgotten it.

Yes,
I have probably written more songs in the last 4 months than at any other time in my life. I think we will meet in the summer to start working together. But I can not confirm anything yet.
I think he's gone deeeep into that bassmusic/trap hole

This record totally sounds different on my studio speakers. I had been listening to it in the car (shitty stereo) and on headphones but the monitors totally made a difference for me. I don't even have a sub attached to these monitors and I could hear the soundscape much more clearly. I think its incredibly psychedelic to hear the sounds presented in this way. I am glad its mixed like that even though its a bit of a barrier to entry.

this is really nice of you, and i'm no expert, but with mine i can access it multiple times across various devices so i'd say this is akin to file sharing (since it can be disseminated and used multiple times)... so i'd err on the side of caution and offer it via punch

Yeah, no way! Super gracious dude, down to earth and ridiculously generous with his time. Dallou and I were talking to him after a show and their tour manager (?) was obviously giving him outs/hints they needed to roll and he couldn't be less rushed. He listened to us and answered our questions until the very last second he could. I got to give him a hug, most chill encounter I've had with any "celebrity" I put it in quotes because I bet he would laugh at that title. Love him

Dude's like a teddybear... but he's one of the animated teddy bears that will start stabbing with a knife.
I remember someone saying something along the lines at Big Sur "Noah's ending of "On Delay" was the creepiest i've ever seen him" lmao

If anyone in the band was secretly evil it would obviously be avey. He'd invite u over to watch some slasher flicks then cut u up and feed u to the gators

Is p bear mean?? Fuck no.. feel like he made his fair share of fun in his day.. but only like we all do. He's just more of a realist than avey i feel.. avey is plain impish.. pbear has an impish sense of humor .. thats what i project anyways.. either ways its just grown men in a band i like. They could be jerks ya. But from what i seen/heard would doubt that

PB is not mean but he’s the kind of person an emotionally needy person would call mean/rude because he wouldn’t act energetic if he wasn’t feeling it
