with the recent DJ sets and reaper being influenced heavily by hip hop, can we expect the new AC album to be super dancey/club-like? that would be flippin awesome.

With some reports trickling in of AC getting together next month to begin recording new stuff, I was just thinking it would be a completely new thing for them if they recorded an album before touring with the songs. I would be really interested to see if that is actually what they end up doing/what the results would be like. Would be a real change-up.

I think part of what can be so great about AC is that they tour with songs for a while before they release them...Getting to know and understand what a song is, and the shape it should take is a special kind of care I don't see in many musicians.
But hey, if it means they'll release an album sooner I'm all for it :D

Dave has said in interviews that he felt very lonely during the making of spirit so you're not completely wrong picking up on those sorts of feelings.

I reckon Spirit is the 'saddest' AC album and Indian is the 'darkest'

I think the whispering on Abyss Song is the one of the creepiest things that any AC member has recorded. Even creepier than Wastered. Hard to beat Oddsac though
