Please let's all stay calm.no rash conclusions. Do we want another tomboy debacle? There's only so many virgins we can sacrifice to the release date gods...

it won't be possible to turn out vinyl that fast, from pressing experience. if it is somehow true the lp could always come out later i guess

This and take care just make me wanna cry. Haven't been this hyped since ever.

Is anyone else as disturbed as I am that it sounds like Noah decided to remove the call and response-type vocal near the end of this (the part that starts "So it goes...")? That was one of my favorite parts of this song, by far, primarily because it sets up that last note that he really belts out so well.

i missed it too.

either he's saving it for the album or it was just a little fudge like when he stopped for a split second earlier in the song...

this is also usually why I don't listen to the boots anymore, as I tend to get obsessed w/ certain details of the live versions & nearly get bummed out when they don't show on the album etc. etc. like most of us around here often do.

Yeah, it's cool to see how songs progress over time, but I inevitably nit pick about details that I wouldn't have paid attention to otherwise if I listen to them.

I haven't listened to anything past the ATP boot, so I'll try to avoid the newer jams like "Vacuum"(?), which I didn't even know existed until just recently.

waiting is worth it. makes the bootlegs all the more fascinating too, if you save them for later.

So the show at 9:30 was fucking amazing. I seriously can see this album being MPP-level for me after hearing the jams live tonight. Big news though. So I met Noah after the show (signed my copy of Person Pitch!) and I asked him about the Wazzzup track from the ATP boot which was absent from tonight's set (which also included a few oldies ;) ). Turns out, he has around two albums worth of material and he told me that he's not sure how the tracks that don't make the Reaper will be used BUT they might be b-sides to singles, on an entire EP, or an entire other album somewhere down the line. Noah's a super nice guy too he complimented my gang gang shirt and I was all 8-)

THIS NEWS.. ITS QUITE FASCINATING

omg that's amazing. So glad it sounds like all the songs will get released eventually. How long did you have to hang around before you met Noah? I wanted to try to meet him but unfortunately I didn't really have time to stay after the show ended.
Also agree with you about the new songs being mpp level. I was seriously almost moved to tears a couple times throughout the show.

I'll try and meet him and ask him this tonight. He'll probably just laugh at me, but I'm ready to take one for the team hahaha

That is big news Tone, glad you were able to meet him! I hope he goes through all the songs on this tour.

The show was so fucking good. My favorite was probably track 4 from the boot, but the whole thing was fantastic. The visual with the grim reaper ripping apart the stuffed panda was hilariously awesome, too. So pleased with everything.

I'm super bummed that I didn't end up meeting Noah, though. Someone told me it usually took two hours for 9:30 artists to come out and meet fans, and waiting that long wasn't feasible for my friends and me, so we left. Ten minutes later, we were just pulling out when our other friends texted us saying that Panda was on stage signing stuff. I turned around immediately, parked, and we all sprinted back to the club, but they wouldn't let us back in. We waited outside for another 25 minutes or so before giving up. Another time, I guess...

Also, my friend asked Panda when the record was coming out, and Panda said around September. He also said some stuff (like Cosplay) wouldn't make the cut. I hope he sticks to that release date!

I can't believe that no one has recorded any of the live shows yet.

Panda is coming to chi town in two days, I literally just got drugzz, and yet, I'm don't have any ticket. The regret is already starting to creep in....

i got the whole show recorded last night at 9:30. SO GOOD! that was my first solo panda show. gaah so good. I was out my body that whole entire time. Loved the opening track. And I'm so glad I'm not the only one who heard bits of derek and carrots! I thought i was going crazy. I also swear i heard the guitar sample for Song for Ariel.
