havent people been talking about another album he's been working on? maybe they're from that?

Maybe they will both be released together as a package (wishful thinking)

[slasherflicks is]... an extension of my solo work and i guess musically I have the most input in the band so I think that counts. I also want to do a more electronic record parallel to that which I have been writing songs for as well. I kind of want it to have a more home recorded analogue feel to it. I guess in a way similar to the last solo record I did 'Down There' but where as that one was meant for moon shine I think this one will be meant for sunshine. My hopes were actually to do three records and have them be a trilogy but my band mate (noah) told me that wasnt a good idea haha cause it would be too much work. So im taking his advice and trying to work really hard on two then maybe try and do another when these two are done. Who knows though by then I might be in the thick of some new ac stuff.

Yeah I don't think the songs from that tour will be on the new record, they have a much more Down There vibe

actually i think i agree with you there. while i don't think they'd have fit on DT -they are not especially contrasting with that material either (with regards to his moonshine ---> sunshine comment).

I can't wait to hear his sunshiney record, it'll be cool to go back to brighter AC vibes. I'd love to hear Song for Jerome through that lens. Everything since MPP has been pretty dark.

Yeah "Song for Jerome" was basically the song I was thinking about when I said I don't think those songs would really fit on a sunshine record, lol

True, the lyrics aren't very happy haha. I just don't know when else he would release it, unless it'll be on his record after Slasherflicks and AFTER the bright, electronic one, and I don't want to wait that long. And it's just too good of a song to not record (although it could be another Oddsac Glasslands situation)! Maybe he could flesh it out with Slasherflicks? That would be sick as heck. Imagine the track list for Slasher Flicks is revealed and there's a track called 'Jerome' I'd just keel over
