I'd call it an avey record because he wrote all the songs. But you could say by the bands standards, it's an AC record since more than one of them is on it

I first heard AC when Sung Tongs came out, and their back catalogue took me a while to get a grip on, if I'm honest. But over the years, this one has always stood out to me as the most special of those first records. It's amazing to think how young they were, and how fully-formed it sounds. I also love how it sounds totally unique in their catalogue, which would become a trait of the band later, just incredible creative ambition and ideas.

Chocolate Girl sounds so so so good. I really hope they didn't bend to pressure from people who can't handle the noise/high-frequency stuff and remove those sounds or even tone them down a little. All that stuff is what makes the album so special.

Cannot believe we are gonna get like 20?? 25?? minutes worth of new 2000s Animal Collective material. A dream come true.

Also not a huge fan of the art, but I don't mind it for a physical release. I can change the digital album on my phone to the original one.

Will be forever kicking myself for not picking up that $60 mint copy I found in Orlando in 2017. I typically don’t like remasters because they change the sound and feeling of the music. Not sure if I’ll pick this one up but I’m glad it’s getting back out there.

Owning an older pressing to compare the remaster to has me really excited for this. But never assumed an EP! Untitled 1 reminded me how exciting those early years were to discover.

Track lengths for the ep

So buzzing about this, I can't even say.

I'm glad they didn't drop Dreams as the lead ep single - now we get to fantasize about what the cover's gonna sound like for eight weeks! Such a great song, and such a great fit for the Spirit era. Seems like they gotta slow it waaaay down? I can hear Avey's whispery-raspy vocals . . . Panda gonna do something weird with the original drums - which drive the original but is fairly unchanging. Can't wait.

panda isn't necessarily on all of the EP right? does it seem like he's on untitled#1?
