Feel like that's probably just an old unused loop from the person pitch/MPP days but who knows.

I could see it being a little tease that ends up making its way into a song on the new AC record.

Hammond organ feels very strange to hear in an AC related context

What is this sampled from? It's driving me nuts. The drum breakdown almost sounds like Pink Floyd but the organ feels Marvin Gaye or motown.

aw true i thought that thing 0:33 that recurs after each verse stanza was 4 sure a vocoder or something similar, sounds very sonic boom ish, so does the way the vocals sound so thick and almost autotuned but they seem not to be. just speculation based on the way sonic booms last album n grim reaper was mixed

was'nt me , but my vocals are ALWAYS auto-tuned ..... not in the 'by rote' way I hear on everything 'pop' these days ( that to me sounds like a soul vacuum )... but I like the texture it brings to my shitty voice...

Noah's vox never need it to my ears . his ear for pitch is tight . pretty sure he could sing like a vocoder if he chose though...... yup....

hope u guise will be as excited as I am with out new lil collab ; ) dont wanna self hype , sell hype , eat hype or you to sleep hype . but I will say that , to me and I think the few friends we played stuff too it was pretty unanimous - he's hit a deep deep vein or ore .... hope it'll be something for the weakened

warm love to u guise there xp

and , for 'ol times sake....... MOOOOOOOP !

Pete!! Lovely to see you hop in here again. I'm sure that whatever you and Noah have cooking will be delicious. Between that and the new AC album that's been hinted at, fans like us seem to be getting spoiled. Curious if you've gotten to hear the new album, and if so any impression you got from it? Wild to me that Noah has so much work cooking at once right now, but I guess the past year has kinda necessitated keeping oneself busy.

What a lovely post sonic, and you know we eat up every little cryptic morsel you feed us. Thank you for the new tidbits to hold is off and keep us guessing and thanks for poking your head in.

Anything else you can share about what Noah has been up to as of late?

Yusss... Peebs is so good at those simple, slightly off-kilter beats. It's a killer song. "Way to the Show" is another earworm off that album, I don't think he's on that one though. Excellent use of repetition

Btw.. thanks for the nugget of ore, Pete. I must say I loved your last album and got into Spacemen stuff too late. It's golden ore for sure!

fuck reading that message brought me back to the 2014 reaper days and got me weirdly emotional for a sec. Thank you for putting up with our bs and for sprinkling some magic and hope in our little lives right now. Cannot wait, new panda, new ac coming, maybe a tour, could not hope for anything more music wise

From Petes riddles, and Panda's sprinkles, consider me beyond excited. This past year was hell, and a sweat morsel beyond the dark horizon would make it all feel it was for something. It seems like so many musicians have been able to do some great writing through the pandemic. Perhaps it gushered out all the goods, in wringing out the souls pitch!

Super psyched for a dubby/roots influenced PB release!! And SP-303 compression! Forget the dynamics, I need a single powerful sound to fall into. : - ))))
